Zayn Malik & Perrie Edwards: Goes Out Of His Way To Explain He Wasn’t Shading Her — Feeling Protective?

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards have been history for quite some time now, but he’s at it again. If one looks at his latest tweet, the former One Direction singer is probably taking a sweep at the Little Mix singer.

Zayn Malik wrote on Twitter, “Love how people feel liberated naked.. Read a book liberate your brain.” Us Magazine has suggested the tweet comes after Little Mix defended their sizzling tour outfits. Perrie defended the band’s outfits saying that they were not overly sexy and insisted the band never aims to look scandalous. “We wear what we feel comfortable in. We’re not overly sexy in what we do anyway. We go for sexy/cute. We’d never want to be ­scandalous. I think we’ve got the right kind of balance. Some of us are 24. We aren’t going to be able to wear stuff like this for the rest of our life, and parade around in little dresses and stuff, but at the same time, we are just girls.”

Perrie goes on to explain that the band members are supportive of each other and that they do not have a strict dress code. “We need to encourage each other and if you don’t want to have your body out then you don’t have to.” Perrie has admitted she refrained from showing off her body but that now she is more open about it. “I never used to want to get my figure out, but now I’m like, ‘Yes, here it is.'”

Point taken, Miss Edwards. But it seems like her words have not really done anything for Zayn Malik and he has gone on to take a dig at teh singer anyway. Not long after Malik’s quote was posted, the fans from the Little Mix camp got furious with the One Direction star.

One fan wrote, “Zayn probably saw pics of perrie showing off her body and regretted for dumping her that’s why he tweeted that tweet.I got you zayn I got ya.”

Another said, “Is Zayn really shading Little Mix?” However, it seemed like Zayn went on to explain himself that he was not shading.

And as if Zayn’s explanations weren’t enough, he re-tweeted one of his followers to make his clearer. Well, it sure does look like he was going to huge lengths to make sure he wasn’t misinterpreted. Does it mean he still cares about Perrie Edwards?

The Inquisitr has reported that Zayn Malik had sent a sarcastic message to Louis Tomlinson after Louis was seen hanging out with Perrie Edwards, the Daily Mail explained. The website went on to say that Louis and Zayn have cut all ties. “Zayn sent Louis a sarcastic message the day after the BRITs saying, ‘Thanks for the loyalty’ and asked him to leave Perrie alone,” a secret source spilled, according to Sugarscape.

It has been reported that Perrie and Louis have always been good friends and that he doesn’t owe Zayn a thing. “Louis and Perrie have always been good friends, and she’s been a good support to him. Louis had made it clear that he’s got no intention of cutting her out of his life,” the source has said. Well, it goes on to say that Zayn Malik is probably still a bit protective about his ex.
