Is Christina Aguilera Feuding With Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton On ‘The Voice’ Season 10?

Christina Aguilera reportedly remains at odds with Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, and according to a new publication, the tension between them may lead her to quit The Voice.

On March 14, Movie News Guide claims Christina Aguilera could be leaving the series if Stefani returns, and noted that Aguilera was friends with Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.

For the past few seasons, Christina Aguilera and Stefani have alternated seasons as coach, with the three other coaches being male. However, with just one female on the show per season, the women have been seemingly pinned against one another, and now that Stefani is dating Shelton, the ex-husband of her friend, things between them have allegedly gotten even worse.

According to the report, Christina Aguilera isn’t on board with Stefani and Shelton’s romance, and feels he should instead be focusing on mending his marriage to Lambert! Even though Lambert is currently dating Anderson East, and has been split from Shelton since last July, Christina Aguilera is said to be convinced the former spouses should fix their relationship. Meanwhile, noted the report, Christina Aguilera “can’t stand to see” Stefani and Shelton as a couple.

In addition to Christina Aguilera’s reported issues with Stefani and Shelton’s relationship, another report earlier this month claimed she was also upset over the couple’s special treatment on the set of The Voice.

“Blake and Gwen are getting an interesting offer from the show’s execs,” the source told Radar Online. “Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when she is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc.”

Stefani and Shelton began dating while filming The Voice Season 9 last year, and on the show, they didn’t hesitate to exhibit flirty behavior. In fact, the couple has been extremely affectionate with one another since going public with their relationship, and will likely do so when Stefani joins Shelton as his mentor for The Voice Season 10.

“[Christina Aguilera] is furious!” the insider said. “[Christina Aguilera] wants Gwen out of the picture and is already throwing mini-tantrums about it. She said that Gwen is ‘not vocally talented’ and would not be on the show at all anymore if it was not for her relationship with Blake.”

After Stefani and Shelton wrapped filming on The Voice Season 9, it was believed that the former No Doubt singer would not be seen on the show until Season 11, but months later, it was announced that she would be returning to the show in a mentor role. While NBC never released a statement about why Stefani would return, Christina Aguilera seems to believe Stefani was asked back solely due to her romance with Shelton.

Meanwhile, Shelton is reportedly unconcerned about Christina Aguilera’s feelings towards his romance with Stefani.

“Blake really does not care what [Christina Aguilera] does or says,” the insider said. “He is a completely different person now because of Gwen, so much more laid-back. He said that he’s grateful the show is the reason that he and Gwen found each other.”

Last week, OK! Magazine shared a report, revealing Christina Aguilera was threatening to quit the show after becoming fed up with the spotlight being on her co-stars, Stefani and Shelton.
