Kanye West Tweets ‘Why Do People Not Want Me To Be Me,’ Plans To Release Three Albums A Year [Video]

Kanye West is possibly becoming more famous for his constant train of thoughts over Twitter than he is for recording albums and as a fashion icon. In his latest Twitter rant, West complained that everyone is “trying to talk me out of being me,” while informing fans that he’s no longer releasing his albums on CD.

In his latest tweets, West, who clearly feels victimized, queried “[w]hy do people not want me to be me?,” adding that he “want[s] people to be the best version of themselves and I will be the best version of me.” West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, has the same question, and took to her personal website to agree with Kanye, writing that she’s “LOVING My Husband” but “HATING That people don’t get that Kanye will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art.”

Kardashian just wants “[e]veryone to be as honest as Kanye,” the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and mother-of-two added. Not everyone supports Kanye, however. Amber Rose, who used to date Kanye West, had some harsher words for the artist. In her own rant, Amber Rose stated, “I just don’t like [Kanye West] as a person. I don’t know if I ever will. It’s very simple,” although that might have something to do with Kanye’s claims that he had to take 30 showers after dating Amber Rose before hooking up with Kim Kardashian.

Kanye also named Justin Bieber’s song “What Do You Mean” to be his “favorite song of 2015,” adding that The Life Of Pablo rapper has “discovered my single greatest quality. I care.” Kanye then told his fans that people “can say anything they want about me but they could never say that I didn’t care. I care about people.”

West concluded his latest Twitter rant by claiming “[g]rowing and learning but not being told to stop…not being stunted…please avoid trying to talk me out of being me in the future…###hashtag all positive vibes.”

Part of being Kanye West means tossing out the calendar, and according to another tweet, West has decided “[n]o more fashion calendar,” and will release new products when they’re completed, rather than wait for each season to roll around. In the tweet, Kanye confirmed his ambitious plants to produce “6 [fashion] collections a year” while releasing “3 albums a year” at the same time in a bid to go “Mad Max.”

Since Kanye has already released The Life Of Pablo in 2016, that means we can expect two more albums from the singer.

West also confessed that he’s currently in Sweden working on designs for his fashion collection. Sweden has proven to be inspirational for Kanye, who tweeted that he was “[s]uper inspired by my visit to Ikea today, really amazing company… my mind is racing with the possibilities,” although Kanye wasn’t specific about his visit to the furniture manufacturer.

After The Life Of Pablo released during New York Fashion Week, West indicated he will release another album this summer, although it won’t be a physical product. In a subsequent Twitter message, Kanye wrote that he “was thinking about not making CDs ever again,” adding that future albums will only be released on streaming services such as Tidal.

Declaring “the Yeezus album packaging was an open casket to CDs r.i.p,” West confirmed “so there it is…No more CDs from me.” Kanye’s latest Twitter rant comes after a public apology for “being confusing.” In his apology tweet, Kanye wrote that there has “been a lot of confusion in the past 3 weeks,” and asked fans to forgive him.
