Sam Smith Dating Bisexual Boyband Member TayTay Starhz: It’s Complicated

Oscar winner Sam Smith has been seen in previous get-togethers with boyband member TayTay Starhz, and it’s stirring up a lot of conversation whether Sam and TayTay are really going out. Are Sam and TayTay really dating? We find out it’s a bit complicated, really.

Sam Smith and boyband member TayTay Starhz first met last year through common friends, but it’s only recently, after Sam Smith returned from Los Angeles after the Oscars, that the two are recently seen together—and together might be an understatement, really, since they are seen locking lips on various occasions.

The Sun reports today that Sam and TayTay have constantly been in touch since they’ve met, but it’s nothing too serious. A source close to both Sam and TayTay tells the Sun that twice already were Sam and TayTay spotted at Freedom Bar in Central London this month, showing their affection for each other.

“They were in Freedom Bar in central London last weekend and couldn’t hide their attraction to one another from fellow clubbers. Sam kept cheekily grabbing Tay when he thought no one was looking and they even had a snog at the end of the night after ending up at club XXL until 5am.

“Then on Thursday they were out again at Freedom Bar after having drinks at a nearby hotel. This time they were much more open and were kissing loads in front of people.”

And it looks like there is some serious chemistry between Sam Smith and TayTay Starhz, as the source adds.

“Sam is really into Tay and they have spent a lot of time together. They’ve been in constant touch. It could be nothing more than a quick fling but Sam isn’t bothered that Tay isn’t a huge A-lister like him. He likes going on normal nights out with normal people.”

With nothing to hide, Sam even takes a photo with TayTay and the group and it could be seen over at the Sun’s report.

Although reports are already flying around about the possible romance between Sam Smith and TayTay Starhz, Metro finds out that this is nothing serious. A friend of Sam tells Metro the following in confidence.

“Sam and Tay are just very good friends, that’s all. These stories about them dating are just lies.”

This statement, though, is hard to believe, since the two were spotted kissing in Central London last Thursday. But Sam Smith and Taytay Starhz have yet to comment on the issue, so we can’t definitely dismiss one or the other.

Interestingly, TayTay Starhz has a habit of being spotted with A-listers on Freedom Bar. Before the report with Sam Smith, TayTay has also been spotted last December locking lips with another celebrity at the same bar.

Zoë Ball, an English television and radio personality best known as host of The Radio 1 Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 1, has been spotted last December in a rather heated kiss with TayTay. Note that Zoë Ball is a married woman with two daughters, to boot.

TayTay has explained, though, that it was Zoë who came right to him and started the confrontation, saying, “She very naturally leaned in for a kiss and was very confident. We were kissing for two or three minutes it was more of a snog than a quick peck.”

TayTay has also confirmed his sexuality earlier, which explains his moments with Zoë and Sam.

“I am bisexual. However I do not feel my sexuality defines me as a person. I’m proud of who I am and so are my family.”

Sam Smith has yet to comment on the matter and has been very quiet on social media after his acceptance speech fiasco at the Oscars. Metro has also reached out to Sam Smith’s representative and declined to give a comment.
