Kanye West Apologizes For ‘Confusing’ Twitter Rants, Wants Fans To Know The ‘Real’ Truth

Kanye West is known for his epic Twitter rants and now he’s back again with yet another lengthy statement, but it’s quite different from what fans have grown accustomed to. Instead of attacking the media, critics, celebrities and other public figures, Kanye West is actually apologizing for all the confusion he’s caused over the past couple weeks, according to Perez Hilton.

On Mar. 8 and 9, the Yeezus rapper took to Twitter with a series of tweets addressing his rants over the past couple weeks. Kanye West admitted that he understands why the tweets have seemed so confusing and how the truth sounds ludicrous. Although Kanye wants fans to know the “truth” he speaks, he believes the media will always belittle what he has to say, or publish his words misconstrued.

Here’s what Kanye had to say:

Kanye West’s Twitter apology follows a massive news cycle filled with reports about his recent outbursts online and backstage on Saturday Night Live. For those who missed it, it all started when Kanye and Wiz Khalifa became embroiled in a Twitter war when Wiz criticized Kanye for the conceptual name of his album.

As expected, Kanye fired back at Wiz, but he took things a step further when he made a seemingly offensive comment about Wiz’s son Sebastian. It didn’t take long for the child’s mother, Amber Rose, who happens to be Kanye’s ex, to also fire back on Twitter. Her jaw-dropping, accusatory comments about Kanye West set Twitter ablaze. Then, about two weeks after that, Kanye West faced backlash for misogynistic lyrics about Taylor Swift, Amber Rose, and even his wife Kim Kardashian.

After debuting the album at the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, Kanye West was hit by critics left and right. Of course, Kanye took to Twitter to address the misogynistic claims, insisting his wife and Taylor Swift were both fine with his lyrics, although Taylor’s representatives said otherwise.

On Sunday, Feb. 14, he reached a breaking point. After an epic meltdown on Saturday Night Live, Kanye took to Twitter yet again with another rant where he led fans to believe he was $53 million in debt. However, Kris Jenner further added to the confusion by insisting Kanye wasn’t actually in debt and that his words were only a figure of speech. Is Kanye West in debt or not?

The looming question has only led to more reports and confusion. Then, Kim Kardashian decided to put her own spin on the Twitter confusion by firing back at critics after she posted a nude selfie on Mar. 7. Her Twitter rant was so shocking that many news outlets speculated Kanye West actually hacked her account and posted the offensive tweets, according to New York Daily News. However, Kim insists the scathing words were her own. So, all of the confusion has led to Kanye West’s Twitter apology.

But, will this be his last rant?

Since Kanye West is widely known for his Twitter rants, it’s probably safe to say he’ll sound off again if angered. But, for now, all is calm in the dark twisted fantasy world of Kanye West.
