Nike confiscates all video of LeBron James getting pwned

Hey, Nike- the fastest way to get let everyone know all about the clip of Lebron James getting pwned by a college kid is to not let anyone see it.

Web searches were off the hook for the elusive clips of NBA star LeBron James getting dunked on by a college sophomore named Jordan Crawford, but Nike made sure no one left the stands with footage. The LA Times quoted freelance photographer Ryan Miller:

“He just said, ‘We have to take your tape,’ ” Miller told CBS Sports. “They took it from other guys too…”

“There’s nothing I can think of besides LeBron just not wanting it online,” Miller told CBS Sports. “It’s a good story to tell people, I guess,” adding that he was a bit angry. “I lost my tape.”

The “dunking on” occurred Monday at a NBA skills camp in Akron, OH. And even though Nike has so far kept the clip from hitting the internet, the incident has caused tons of buzz and even spawned t-shirts. It goes without saying that if Nike just let the incident slide, not nearly as many people would have been aware of its existence.

Are you listening, Nike? You cannot silence the internet. We shall find the clip, we shall take screenshots, and WE WILL CAPTION.

Here’s a clip of young Jordan Crawford describing how he served LeBron.
