Kaley Cuoco ‘Cannot Wait To Be In Love Again’

Kaley Cuoco has been living the single life since she filed for divorce from her husband of 21 months, tennis player Ryan Sweeting, but it appears as though Cuoco is ready to move on and find love once again.

According to People Magazine, Cuoco and Sweeting officially separated on September 3, 2015, and later “mutually decided to file for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. Although sources say Cuoco never mentioned any trouble within her relationship, they did say when Cuoco and Sweeting were out and about, they looked miserable.

“The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together, the tension was noticeable,” a source said at the time. “You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. They both seemed miserable.”

Even though her marriage ended the way it did, Kaley said it didn’t change her views of love. She added that she “cannot wait to be in love again,” but wants to wait until she finds the right person.

“[What happened] changes the way I look at marriage, and that makes me sad,” Cuoco told Cosmopolitan for their April cover story. “[It] does not change the way that I look at love. I cannot wait to be in love again. I don’t feel like I am ready yet … which is so different for me. I dive into everything.”

Cuoco also talked about how different her life is now from where it was last year before her divorce.

“I thought I’d have a baby by now!” Cuoco admitted. “You see your life going one way, and then it’s the direct opposite way. I’m waking up going, Oh my god, my life just flipped upside down.”

“Last year was very bizarre and we all go through really weird ups and downs. And sometimes I’m a little bit more seen, and everyone goes through that stuff,” Cuoco added during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. It’s been rough, but things are going good.”

Cuoco also opened up about the speculation around a possible rekindled romance with her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki. Cuoco and Galecki dated for almost two years before going their separate ways romantically in 2010. Since then, however, rumors have frequently surfaced that the pair are getting back together.

“Johnny and I are very close now, but the worst part about that is I don’t want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex,” Kaley explained. “We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, ‘I got you. I get it.'”

In September, Cuoco gushed over her ex, calling him one of her best friends during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

“We dated like five years ago, so I think everyone’s moved on,” Cuoco said at the time. “Johnny’s actually one of my best friends. It’s a situation that ended well, I understand sometimes it doesn’t.”

Despite her desire to be in love again, Cuoco is a prime example of an independent woman who doesn’t need a man to make her happy.

“Of course I’m a f****** feminist. Look at me. I bleed feminism. I get equal pay to my male costars on a big show, I have my own home, I’m as independent as you could possibly be.”
