‘Fuller House’ Officially Renewed For Season 2
Fuller House has been a phenomenon since releasing on Netflix last Friday. Many of the viewers have been waiting for something like this to happen for several years. The serious talks about a Full House reboot had been going on for quite some time, but it was officially confirmed last year. Fans waited for the official release of Fuller House on Netflix, and many have already binge watched the entire season.
There have been some minor complaints about Fuller House being more adult-oriented than some would have liked. While it wasn’t what some would call filth, there was plenty of questionable wardrobe choices and dirty jokes that may have gone over some kids’ heads, but didn’t escape the adults. Times have changed since the original aired, and that is just part of life. The majority have been looking forward to a second season of Fuller House, and it looks like the answer about renewal has finally arrived.
According to TVLine, Fuller House is officially renewed for Season 2. The announcement came on Twitter this morning, and fans have been buzzing about it all over social media. The details surrounding what will take place in Season 2 of Fuller House have not yet come out, but there is plenty of fan speculation available. Filming for the show will likely be put off until the summer or fall, especially since Jodie Sweetin just announced she will be partaking in Dancing with the Stars during the upcoming season. There is so much potential for what is to come, and fans are excited to see where the writing will head this time around.
Most of the original cast returned to Fuller House to make it special for fans. The only missing cast members were the Olsen twins, which was not terribly surprising. The young ladies did well with the acting business when they were little, but left that world behind to be fashion and designer moguls. Fuller House wasn’t the same without Michelle Tanner, but it was still good enough for fans to move past the missing piece in the puzzle.
Right now, there are no confirmations on returning characters for Season 2 of Fuller House. It is likely that Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron-Bure, and Jodie Sweetin will return. They are the stars of the reboot and without them, Netflix will not have a show. According to Entertainment Weekly, Fuller House creator, Jeff Franklin, will be trying to snag one of the Olsen twins for Season 2. There was already talk about this last week, before the renewal happened. If this happens, it could be huge for the show. Fans will be tuning in with or without Michelle Tanner being a part of the show, but it would be nice to fit that missing piece into the puzzle that was constructed nearly three decades ago.
Netflix picking up Fuller House was one of the best decisions for the streaming service. Their niche in exclusives has made them highly sought after, and Fuller House has a cult following. With Season 2 being confirmed, it is definitely being speculated this show could go at least a few more seasons before calling it quits. In less than a week, Fuller House has been watched by several thousands of people. Many have binged it and are waiting on Season 2, while others are taking their time to enjoy part of the nostalgia that was once their childhood. There is nothing like watching a show with your children that you watched with your parents growing up. While no release date has been announced for the renewal of Fuller House, it is likely going to be as close to the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017 as possible.
