‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers And Speculation: Will Season 22 Finally Include Someone From ‘Good Morning America’? [Updated]

It is almost time for the big cast reveal for Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars. Spoilers are swirling about the pro slate as well as the celebrity slate, and fans are anxious to see how it all comes together. While the full cast is not set to be announced until March 8, there is some speculation building that a team member from Good Morning America may become an early confirmed contestant.

There has been talk for years that one of the GMA crew would do Dancing With the Stars. Spoilers have teased that one of the group may have been close to signing last year, but then things did not come together. However, the buzz is picking up steam again regarding Season 22 and fans love this idea.

As DWTS fans know, Good Morning America has been close with those from the dance show for years. GMA often does the big reveal for each season and Dancing With the Stars pros and celebrities head to the morning show regularly. Robin Roberts, in particular, has always been a big fan of the show, as has Lara Spencer.

Adding to this hype is the Dancing With the Stars spoiler floating around that pro Tony Dovolani is supposedly in the mix this spring. According to Twitter user @DWTSGossip, who typically gets incredibly accurate scoop on the show, Dovolani has a New York-based partner this time out. Given Tony’s past partnerships, it would not be a stretch to think that he could be paired with a GMA team member. Other fans are also throwing out the idea of Carla Hall from The Chew, who is another big fan of the show.

A new promo floating around teases that the first DWTS spring cast member will be announced Tuesday, March 2, on Good Morning America. In addition, Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec will be on to talk about their new engagement. Could it be that the first cast member for the spring season will be announced early and individually because it is someone from GMA? Many fans think that just might be the case and those over at PureDWTS are definitely buzzing about this possibility.

While Robin Roberts is a very popular guess when it comes to the speculation regarding seeing a Good Morning America cast member hit Dancing With the Stars, some also note that Amy Robach or Lara Spencer could very well be candidates too. Plenty of GMA and DWTS fans would love to see Ginger Zee hit the dance floor, but that possibility seems less likely given that she recently had a baby and is just now returning to the morning show from maternity leave.

Will all of this speculation pan out to be accurate, or will the GMA announcement be related to a different contestant? Does Tony Dovolani have a New York celebrity partner or are those teasers off-base? As was previously reported by the Inquisitr, the latest Dancing With the Stars spoilers indicate that Mark Ballas will dance with Paige VanZant while Peta Murgatroyd will partner with Nyle DiMarco.

Derek Hough is believed to be out for Season 22 of DWTS, but Val Chmerkovskiy is in and it seems Keo Motsepe is in as well. There had been hints that either Louis van Amstel or Sasha Farber would round out the male pro side, but nothing is confirmed yet.

As for the ladies, Sharna Burgess is back and many suspect that she will partner with Pittsburgh Steeler Antonio Brown. Karina Smirnoff and Edyta Sliwinska are said to be dancing this spring, and there are signs pointing toward Lindsay Arnold and Witney Carson rounding out the female side.

Which celebrities will be joining the cast that is said to have Kim Fields, Jodie Sweetin, Paige, and Nyle? Answers will be coming soon, but for now viewers will have to hang tight to see what additional Dancing With the Stars spoilers come out before the official announcement on March 8.

Updated: Though many had figured that Ginger Zee was a somewhat unlikely choice, given the fact she just had a baby is getting back into the swing of things on Good Morning America, Dancing With the Stars spoilers via PureDWTS tease that she is the GMA personality about to hit the dance floor this spring! The site says that she will be partnering with Val Chmerkovskiy, which should be quite the partnership to watch! In addition, Jodie Sweetin has been confirmed now, and it is said that she will partner with Keo Motsepe.
