Britney Spears Covers ‘V Magazine’s’ 100th Issue, Talks About Upcoming #B9 Album

Britney Spears is looking ridiculously hot on all three covers of V Magazine, which was released on March 1. The pop princess is featured on the cover of the magazine’s 100th issue in sexy lingerie.

The 34-year-old pop star wears a sheer black bodysuit over a black Tavik bikini, as noted by Us Weekly. Spears pairs her look with naughty black What Katie Did garter belt and stockings with Christian Louboutin heels. Of course, the blonde pop star is also wearing her signature high ponytail, as she has in recent years.

But wait — there are two other versions of the already sexy cover. One features the singer laying her head back on a man’s leg in a motorcycle jacket, while another shows Brit Brit laying across a shirtless man’s lap. This time around, the “Pretty Girls” singer smolders at the camera as she wears a black mesh tank top adorned with embellishments. For the Spring 2016 issue, out on newsstands on March 8, founder and editor-in-chief Stephan Gan explained why he wanted Britney on the cover.

“When looking for cover-worthy subjects for our 100th issue, we had to ask ourselves, Who do pop stars and musicians – who have become an integral part of what V represents – look up to and admire? There was only one answer: Britney! She has entered icon status, and who in our world did not grow up listening to her music?”

According to WWD, the photo shoot was taken by famed photographer Mario Testino, while the cover story was written by MTV alum John Norris. The last time that Britney Spears posed for three exclusive covers for V Magazine was back in 2011, when she posed topless and showed off her lower back tattoo.

Inside the magazine, Spears touches on her legendary status and her two decades in the public spotlight. She also compares herself to the likes of Justin Bieber, who’s often in the public eye for his music or his troubles. But nowadays, Spears admits that she doesn’t let the public scrutiny get to her anymore.

“Whoever is in the spotlight, people are really quick to judge…You know, Justin Bieber, he’s huge, and he experiences that. It’s just the way the world works, unfortunately. I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I kind of don’t pay attention to it. I have my relationship with God and myself and that’s what matters to me. I really don’t care what most people think.”

The singer also talks about her upcoming album, which fans have been looking forward to after the disappointment that was Britney Jean. Britney seems to have realized the mistake that she made when releasing her most personal album to date, as she admits that she’s taking time on her ninth studio album.

“Honestly, I’m just particular with this record. It’s my baby, and so I really want it done right. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be, whether that takes another year for me to do, or just two months. I have no idea at this point.”

Don’t expect the new album to drop anytime soon. The Las Vegas entertainer also calls her new album the “best thing” that she has worked on in a long time. Hopefully that means Britney will release another seductive album like In the Zone or the fan favorite Blackout. Her sexy new covers come just weeks after she shared a series of seriously sexy videos in just her bikini on Instagram.

“Girls just wanna have fun,” Spears captioned one of the mysterious clips.

Also in the interview, Britney Spears talks about how she doesn’t like using the internet, although her Instagram page begs to differ. She posts a variety of different things, including religious photos and inspiring messages.
