Miranda Lambert’s Boyfriend, Anderson East, Reveals His ‘Perfect Date’ As Gwen Stefani Feud Rumors Swirl
Miranda Lambert’s boyfriend, Anderson East, is speaking out in a new interview as she continues to face rumors of an ongoing feud between herself and Gwen Stefani, the new girlfriend of her former husband, The Voice‘s Blake Shelton. Although East didn’t address rumors of Miranda Lambert and Stefani’s feud, or any other rumors, for that matter, he did speak of his recent duet with Miranda Lambert, as well as his ideal date.
On Valentine’s Day, Miranda Lambert surprised the audience at East’s holiday show, and after hopping on stage with her man, the two sang their very own rendition of “Always Be My Baby.”

“I’m a huge closet Mariah Carey fan—she’s got one of the best voices probably ever. That song is so well-written it’s mind-boggling,” East revealed during a February 29 interview with In Style magazine.
During the interview, East failed to speak of Miranda Lambert directly, but he did note what his perfect date would look like, explaining, “It would be sitting at home, not doing anything, watching mindless television.”
Miranda Lambert began her relationship with East in late December, just one month after her ex-husband, Shelton, went public with Stefani. However, unlike Shelton and Stefani, Miranda Lambert and East have chosen to keep their relationship quite private. While they have shared a few social media posts about the other, they have yet to be publicly photographed together, and have also not appeared as a couple on any red carpet. That said, the pair is quite serious, and said to be considering starting a family in the future.

“They both have discussed wanting kids one day,” a source told E! News on February 13. “When they are both not on tour, they are with each other. They video chat or text and keep connected every day.”
Miranda Lambert was married to Shelton for four years, but for unknown reasons, the pair opted against starting a family.
In addition to staying in touch with one another via video chat, the couple has been traveling to meet one another’s family, and to Aspen, where they enjoyed a ski trip earlier this year. East has even been getting to know Miranda Lambert’s pets.
“Anderson loves all 15 of Miranda’s animals,” the insider shared. “They both are very into helping make a difference. Miranda is definitely in love with Anderson… She is in the best place of her life now and looking forward to the future!”
Meanwhile, as Miranda Lambert’s relationship with East continues, an OK! Magazine report has accused her of sending mean text messages to Stefani, causing her and Shelton to split.
“[Miranda Lambert] got ahold of Gwen’s cell-phone number and started calling, sometimes as many as four times in one day,” Gossip Cop revealed of the allegations against Miranda Lambert. In turn, Setfani “got annoyed and texted back, ‘Who is this, and how did you get my number?’ ”
Miranda Lambert even allegedly claimed Stefani was a home wrecker, and slammed her career, claiming she’s been over since the 90s, and when Shelton wouldn’t take a stand against her, Stefani reportedly grew “livid,” and broke things off with the singer.
“Gwen decided that if Blake wouldn’t stand up for her and tell Miranda off, she didn’t want to be with him,” OK! claimed.
Days later, however, a source close to Miranda Lambert’s former husband told Gossip Cop the report was “more garbage,” while Stefani’s rep added that the feud rumors were “false.”
