Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Take Price Hit On Sale Of Bel-Air Mansion Amid Explosive Divorce Rumors

Indebted rapper Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, are reportedly close to finalizing the sale of their Bel-Air mansion. But, they won’t be receiving the $20 million they’re asking for it. According to Radar Online, the most Kanye and Kim will probably profit from their Bel Air mansion is approximately $18 million.

Most Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans who have watched Kim and Kanye West’s relationship evolve are well aware of the ongoing confusion they’ve had with their infamous Bel-Air mansion. Although the exquisite 10,000 square foot mansion has been renovated from top to bottom, Kim and Kanye have never spent a night inside the home. Why? Apparently, they weren’t pleased with the completed renovation, according to Hollywood Life.

So, they never moved in. Speculation about the possible sale of the home was reported back in November and the reason for the sale seemed justifiable; but, over the past couple weeks, media outlets began questioning whether the renovations were the real reason behind Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s decision to sell their Bel-Air mansion.

By now, everyone with an Internet connection has heard about Kanye West’s shocking Twitter confession. Even if you don’t listen to Kanye’s music, you likely have heard he has $53 million in personal debt and has pleaded with Mark Zuckerberg to invest in his ideas. But, the jaw-dropping tweets didn’t stop there.

Kanye West found himself at the center of controversy all month for a number of reasons. During his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show held on Feb. 12, Kanye West allowed fans to hear his new album The Life of Pablo for the first time. Although fans supported him, the media criticized him for the offensive lyrics in a number of his songs. Almost immediately after the fashion show, Kanye came under fire for misogynistic lyrics about his wife, Taylor Swift, and his ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose.

Then, on Feb. 14, he sparked a media firestorm with an epic meltdown behind the scenes on SNL berating staffers before a heated Twitter rant wherein he told fans about his debt and asked Mark Zuckerberg for money. On Tuesday, Feb. 23, Kanye West took to Twitter again with yet another rant geared toward album critics who weren’t exactly moved by his new T.L.O.P. album.

Kanye West’s recent outbursts and mounting debt have reignited the Kim and Kanye divorce rumors, and the sale of the house seems like a way to tie up loose ends in preparation for a possible divorce. Although media outlets are speculating, Kim Kardashian has not uttered a word to address the rumors. However, an insider recently told InTouch Weekly that they’re definitely facing marital problems.

Another insider also revealed Kim wants Kanye to seek professional help for his anger problems, because things have gotten worse over the past couple months. “Kanye has never handled stress well, but for a while he could keep things under control because of the tools he learned in anger management,” an insider told Radar. “Lately he’s been going off about everything — he’s a ticking time bomb and insufferable to be around.”

At this point, it is still unclear if Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have sold the home for financial reasons or if they’re headed for divorce. Despite the speculation, the rumor has yet to be confirmed or denied.
