Sorry, Bella Hadid Is Not Engaged To The Weeknd, Despite Reports

Fans have been wondering if Bella Hadid is engaged to her boyfriend The Weeknd. The couple has been together for a while. And like all Hollywood couples, they have been faced with engagement rumors.

According to TMZ, Bella Hadid, 19, and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, are not planning to walk down the aisle anytime soon. The model was seen wearing a ring on that finger but that doesn’t mean the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer has popped the question just yet.

When the couple was photographed leaving their London hotel on Monday evening, Feb. 23, photographers quickly took notice of the mysterious gold band she was seen wearing. Rumors swirled that The Weeknd asked her to marry him, but that’s not true.

Bella’s reps told TMZ that the couple is not engaged. They have only dated for 10 months, which is a little too soon for the R&B singer. Even the always reliable and trustworthy Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor as “not true.”

Meanwhile, inside sources told the Hollywood Life that the couple has made a major move in their relationship. They are now living together.

“Bella and Abel have decided to take the next step in their romance and move in with one another. Over the last few months their relationship has really progressed, and she has particularly been happy with how supportive he’s been with her mom Yolanda.”

In the Tuesday, February, 23 report, the alleged insider even added that the couple have already discussed their future together. Although they aren’t engaged at the moment, that doesn’t mean they don’t want to get married someday.

“They’re so loved up they’ve even discussed the idea of marriage, having kids, and growing old together. Abel just really gets Bella, they trust each other and have such a positive spin on life together. Their friends already joked they are like a married couple.”

Earlier this month, Bella Hadid celebrated her boyfriend’s 26th birthday. She took to her Instagram page to share a sweet message alongside the photo of The Weeknd sipping a glass of champagne.

“Happy birthday to the most humble, kind, hard working man I’ve ever known! 1 year and you’re still my favorite person on the planet. You deserve everything great in life.”

The couple recently hit the carpet at the 58th Grammy Awards, where The Weeknd killed it with his performance of “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills.” It appears that the two have been on-and-off since they started dating. According to a previous report on the Hollywood Life, Hadid and The Weeknd decided to cool things off on their relationship due their busy schedules.

“Bella and The Weeknd have taken a break,” an insider revealed to E! Online. “Their schedules got very busy and it really cut into their relationship. They are still in each other’s lives though, just not in the same exclusive capacity.”

There were also rumors and speculation that the powerhouse entertainer hasn’t exactly been faithful to his brunette beauty. According to a report in Life & Style magazine, The Weeknd met two women at an after party at his Beauty Behind the Madness back in August. He allegedly flirted with both the petite brunette and curvy blonde models before it quickly turned into an all-out cheating session, says the spy.

“He was making out with both of them, going back and forth. Then they disappeared into a bedroom together.”

Meanwhile, an insider told Page Six that Bella was allegedly cheating on The Weeknd with her ex-boyfriend Matt Morton by hanging out with him for a few times. While another source quickly shot down those rumors, it has fans wondering what’s going on with the couple. Then the pair defied the split and cheating rumors when they were spotted making it rain at a strip club together.
