Chris Brown Hangs With A Group Of Girls After Apologizing To Karrueche Tran In ‘Back To Sleep’ Remix
Chris Brown may have given a shout-out to Karrueche Tran in his newly released “Back To Sleep” remix, but it appears that one of Brown’s latest Instagram pics may not sit well with his former girlfriend.
On Saturday, Chris Brown surprised fans with the release of his highly anticipated “Back To Sleep” remix alongside former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and R&B legend Usher. While fans wasted no time in swooning over the trio’s sultry new track, it appears that one of Brown’s verses from the remix is sparking controversy among fans.
In the “Back To Sleep” remix’s second verse, Chris Brown apologizes to ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran for being unfaithful in their relationship while also giving the model a shout-out in his NSFW track.
“Now where you been, it’s been a year / Baby I ain’t seen you, you know I miss you / Baby let me love you back to sleep once more / And I know we don’t speak no more,” Chris Brown begins his verse while seemingly alluding to his headline-making split from Karrueche that occurred nearly one year ago.
It didn’t take long for fans to weigh-in with their opinion of Brown’s not-so-subtle shout-out to Karrueche, with some commending the singer for trying to rekindle his past romance with Tran despite the nature of their split.

However, other fans expressed their displeasure with Brown’s decision to name-drop his ex-girlfriend in his “Back To Sleep” remix, noting that it’s unlikely Tran will be impressed with the rapper’s forwardness in admitting his infidelity in the track.

Despite some fans’ hopes that Karrueche would be swift in her reply to Chris Brown’s use of her name in his track, the model has yet to acknowledge Brown, Malik, and Usher’s “Back To Sleep” remix.

“Not a good look if you want your b**** back,” one fan wrote in response to Brown’s photo, which was captioned with, “GETTHEJETSREADY!!!” and several rocket-emojis.
While Hollywood Life reports that Karrueche was “flattered” by Chris Brown’s apology in his “Back To Sleep” remix, the model has yet to publicly respond to the claims.
The news comes just one week after Chris Brown seemingly dissed his former girlfriend after he commented on an old Instagram photo of himself and Tran with a bull-emoji and poop-emoji, prompting rumors that the singer has no interest in getting back together with the model.

Despite the alleged diss, Karrueche Tran made no mention of Brown’s comment on social media and has rather been dedicated to promoting her new makeup collaboration with ColourPop Cosmetics called, “KaePop.”
