The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease big drama is ahead for the residents of Genoa City. CBS released the newest promo, and it teases huge scene, and a power shift could be up for grabs. It looks as if Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to flip the script, and show Victor Newman ( Eric Braeden) that she can pull of power plays, too.
The promo, titled “The War Is On!,” shows a very different Nikki Newman than the fans are used to seeing. Nikki feels betrayed by her husband’s lack of decency and wants to revenge the innocence that she believes he stole from her grandson, Noah Newman (Robert Adamson). And Nikki is determined to make Victor pay and hopes in the process he learns a lesson.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) will reveal to Nikki that Victor turned Noah into the police for being the driver that ran over Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). To complicate matters, Nikki learns that her son, Dylan (Steve Burton), arrested sweet Noah and told him that he would be facing criminal charges in connection with Billy’s accident and for concealing evidence. Nikki cannot believe that Dylan would do that to his nephew; the information becomes to be too much for Nikki as she decides she must do something to protect Noah — and the rest of the Newman family — from Victor’s weak (and selfish) choices.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victor will issue Nikki a warning and tell her that he only did what he had to do to protect his family. Nikki becomes furious with Victor and states that she is tired of him justifying his actions by saying he is merely protecting his family from an outside threat. Victor tries to explain to her that he was only attempting to save Noah from a life of living on the run, and he felt confident that he wouldn’t have to go to jail because it was an accident.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nikki will wage a war against Victor and try to bring his children on her side. Nikki goes to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), knowing that Jack is not Victor’s biggest fan to get his take on how she should proceed. The spoilers reveal that he encourages her to take action and to do whatever she can to protect Noah from getting caught up and pay the price for being in Victor’s orbit.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nikki implies to Adam that he should be running Newman Enterprises, not Victor. For Nikki, that was a sneaky move because she knows that Adam is “putting up with” Victor in hopes that he will one day (soon) run the company. Nikki is fully aware that Victor will never (willingly) relinquish control of Newman Enterprises to anyone.
Other The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will dish some good old fashion honesty to her father, and tell him he inflicted terror on the family and others in a bid they will do exactly as he wished. Of course, as you can imagine, Victor will deny it and tell her that he is doing what is needed to be done to protect the family. Haven’t we heard this all before?
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Noah will try to patch things up with Victor; however, he tells him it’s too late — the damage has been done. Noah doesn’t want to hear a word that he has to say and basically tells him he made his bed, and now he must lie in it. Even though Victor is angry that Noah tried to betray him, he vows to help him get out of the mess, as long as he does what he wants him to do (sound familiar?).
Apparently, Nikki will meet Judge Eloise Moxley (Jensen Buchanan) and try to make a deal (blackmail) to save Noah. According to Soap Central, Nikki tells the judge that if she doesn’t go easy on Noah, she will expose her affair with Victor. Of course, the judge doesn’t want her family knowing about her indiscretion; however, the spoilers tease Victor had a plan to keep Noah out of harms way, and Nikki’s meddling may have put a wrench in his plans.
