‘Bachelorette’ Update: Shawn Booth To Propose To Kaitlyn Bristowe Again

Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe fell in love on The Bachelorette, but Shawn is admitting that the two didn’t really start dating until after they were away from the cameras. Now, Shawn Booth is sharing that he has the plans to propose to Kaitlyn again for a second time. Us Magazine was able to catch up with Shawn and Kaitlyn and get the scoop. They talked to them at the Dunkin’ Donuts event and Shawn was ready to reveal his big plans.

Shawn Booth thinks that proposing again is the best thing to do. He shared saying “We used the show to meet each other and find each other, but we really started dating after the show.” When you are on the show, things go really fast. Kaitlyn Bristowe was there to find love and she did just that, but the two didn’t know each other very well yet when it ended.

Kaitlyn Bristowe is actually really looking forward to Shawn proposing to her again. She knows it is coming, but Kaitlyn doesn’t know the details or how it is going to go down when the time comes. Kaitlyn shared her thoughts on the second proposal.

“When I pictured a guy proposing to me, I don’t picture knowing it’s coming and cameras. I want to be surprised — I’m not going to say how I want it because I don’t know. But just being surprised and having that emotion, like, ‘Oh, my God!'”

Right now, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are living in Nashville, which is where he is from, but they have big plans to move to her hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, for the summer. Then, it is back to Nashville for Shawn and Kaitlyn so that they can find a place to live. Kaitlyn Bristowe said that she already knows that they will get married someday, but it doesn’t look like the couple is planning just yet.

People also caught up with Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth. Kaitlyn shared with them all about how she is really excited to have babies some day with Shawn. These two do want to start a family, but they just aren’t rushing into anything just yet. Here is what Kaitlyn had to say about it.

“The idea of family is more exciting to us than planning a wedding. We know we’re going to get married, but we’re really pumped to start a family! I don’t feel like there is a specific order we have to go in.”

It actually sounds like Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth might not do things the traditional way. They could decide to have a family before even getting married. They are just enjoying their lives together and taking one day at a time. Right now, Kaitlyn and Shawn are living together and have been pretty much together since the second they could when the show stopped airing. Shawn wants five kids and Kaitlyn wants four, but the two say they are going to talk again after one and decide. Don’t expect to hear news of Shawn and Kaitlyn calling it quits any time soon.
