Cheryl Burke Dating NHL Player Joffrey Lupul

A few weeks ago, Cheryl Burke was hoping to land a spot on The Bachelorette. But it doesn’t look like the Dancing With The Stars pro will have to search for love on television. Burke is reportedly dating NHL player Joffrey Lupul.

According to People Magazine, Burke and Lupul met when the DWTS star hosted the 2012 NHL Awards in Las Vegas. Lupul, a winger for the Toronto Maple Leafs, was up for the Masterton Trophy at the NHL Awards, but the high-point of the night occurred out on the red carpet when he met Burke.

The two flirted in front of cameras and according to a source they exchanged contact info after the show. Yahoo reports that the new couple had a romantic dinner at L.A.’s Mercato di Vetro earlier this month and were most recently spotted out at the Jockey for a Cause to kick of the Del Mar horse racing season.

The relationship is in its early stages but according to US Magazine, Burke and Lupul are officially a couple.
