Jodie Sweetin Sues Driver After Car Accident

Stephanie Tanner is heading to court. Jodie Sweetin, the actress who played the middle child on the show Full House, filed a lawsuit yesterday against Clark Taylor Savros, the driver who allegedly caused a car accident last year in Los Angeles.

According to E! Online, Sweetin’s lawsuit is asking for more than $25,000 for property damage, loss of wages, and loss of earning capacity.

The accident occurred on March 2nd, 2011.

On March 4th, Sweetin tweeted:

“Sorry guys! Had a car accident, im ok. A wrist fracture and neck and body are really sore. Car totaled. Not fun ? but thankful not worse!… thankfully, kids weren’t in the car. But my friend and I got pretty banged up. Taking it easy at home with the family now!”

According to Sweetin, the driver turned “left RIGHT in front of me” and “totaled my car.”

Sweetin’s acting career went downhill after Full House. In 2009, she starred in two movies, Redefining Love and Port City, and last year she reunited with Full House Alum Dave Coulier for the show Can’t Get Arrested.

Jodie Sweetin suffered with sobriety for several years but is now clean and sober. Her memoir, unSweetined, tells the untold story of Full House and details her struggles with drug abuse.
