Kim Kardashian Is Struggling To Lose Baby Weight, ‘Hovering’ At Nearly 200 Pounds


Kim Kardashian is reportedly struggling to lose the weight she gained with her second child, Saint West. Over two months after her son’s birth, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is reportedly hovering at nearly 200 pounds, which is a far cry from her post-pregnancy goal weight.

“When [Kim Kardashian] saw that her weight was still hovering near 200 pounds, she had a full-on meltdown. She told Kanye that there was no way she could go to Manhattan,” a source told OK! Magazine on February 17.

Although Kim Kardashian ultimately traveled to the east coast from Los Angeles for her husband’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, where he debuted music from his new album, The Life of Pablo, she draped herself in large clothing and big fur coats, hiding her alleged 185-pound frame.

On the cover of this week’s issue, OK! Magazine claimed Kim Kardashian was actually 45-pounds heavier now than she was when she gave birth, and said her weight was the result of her constant eating. The cover also claimed the reality star and mother of two was covered in stretch marks, and had fought with her husband about traveling out of town before dropping the weight she desired.

“She felt so uncomfortable at the thought on being front and center at his show, looking and feeling as she does. But they had a big fight, and he pretty much pushed her into it,” the source added.

During the event, Kim Kardashian sat alongside her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, as well as her mother, Kris Jenner, and brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, while wearing a giant white faux fur coat.

“[Kim Kardashian] says that she wants to lose a total of 70 pounds, but she’s made no progress,” the magazine’s source alleged. “She’s trying to be inspirational to her fans by saying that she’s losing it slowly and healthfully, but the reality is that she’s actually moving in the wrong direction, and she’s panicking.”

Kim Kardashian is known for her figure, so having to live up to her fans’ expectations has likely put a lot of pressure on her. However, rather than turn that pressure into motivation to drop the weight, she has reportedly began eating her feelings.

“[Kim Kardashian] sneaks junk food. She snacks on pizza, chips—anything fast,” the source explained.

In addition to the stresses of her alleged weight gain, Kim Kardashian is also having to deal with the fallout from her husband’s frequent outbursts on Twitter. Around the time of his fashion show, West took to social media, where he slammed Puma, claiming Kim Kardashian’s sister would never sign a deal with them (which she later did), and proclaimed Bill Cosby’s innocence. West also dissed Taylor Swift in his new song, “Famous,” claiming he might sleep with her, and telling listeners he made her famous.

Despite the alleged tension within their marriage, Kim Kardashian has maintained a united front with West while out in public and on her social media pages. Recently, as she and West celebrated Valentine’s Day, Kim Kardashian posted a photo of herself and West, and later shared a short clip. She also posted a photo that teased a new post on her app, which would give fans a backstage look at her fitting for West’s show.
