Harry Styles’ Womanizing, Louis Tomlinson Unprotected Sex Mocked In One Direction Mass Roast

A hilarious Twitter trend has sprung up, and it’s the last thing you would expect from One Direction fans, proving once and for all how good-natured, creative, and awesome they are. Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan are being roasted in a mass-outpouring of cheeky and teasing Tweets, with Twitter users targeting everything from Harry’s long hair to Niall’s golf game as #1DROAST becomes a worldwide trend.

It is thought that the trend sparked up in response to a clip of One Direction aired tonight on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. The guys joined other celebrities in reading mean tweets people have posted about them.

It was Niall Horan who read the Tweet out:

Don’t understand the world’s obsession with One Direction. What is attractive about little boys with gross hair and skinny jeans?

People on social media were soon getting into the spirit, sending out a variety of #1DROAST messages.

Some people were very efficient, managing to ridicule both Niall’s golf skills and Louis Tomlinson’s failure to manage the perils of unprotected sex in one fell swoop. Louis’ presumed failure to wear a condom was also mentioned in the same Tweet-space as his recent failure to wear shoes, with funny results.

Last year, after Louis broke up with his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder, the world was shocked when it came to light that he had impregnated his girlfriend of just a few weeks, as reported by Vanity Fair. Louis’ son Freddie Reign was born in January this year, as reported by Hollywood Life.

Other 1D Roast tweeters attacked Harry Styles’ hair and his love life, joshing that Harry’s long locks have lasted longer than any of his relationships.

Harry has been linked to a number of women, including Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, and Caroline Flack, since One Direction arrived on the scene in 2011.

Some people added a pictorial element to their roast, pointing out that the dimensions of Harry Styles’ hairline look like they could be calculated using Pythagoras’ famous mathematical theorem.

Harry’s tendency to have older friends and hang out with older people – such as 32-year-old Nick Grimshaw, 30-year-old Jeff Azoff, and octogenarian Clive Davis – was mentioned.

People also mocked Harry’s fashion choices. At the end of last year, he wore an awards show Gucci suit that received laughs from a cohort of Harry-watchers who thought the pattern resembled a curtain or IKEA couch cover.

Zayn Malik’s 2015 departure from One Direction and the drop in sales for Made In The A.M. and its singles were mentioned.

Somebody dug up an incredible photo where Niall Horan’s nose, seen in profile, looks exactly like a muscled arm flexing to show its bicep.

People expressed a healthy skepticism about a story from last year that claimed One Direction were canceling shows because Liam Payne had diarrhea, as reported by Hollywood Life. Some fans evidently now believe that this was a cover and the true reason for the cancellations was that fights and personal troubles were rife within the world of One Direction.

Finally, Louis Tomlinson’s baby came up in the same breath as his social media pancakes. One fan reflected that Louis can create life but cannot manage to cook a decent pancake.

Directioners were so good at roasting the boys that many reflected that no one can “hate on” One Direction quite like their fans can. People also became possessive when other fandoms and genuine One Direction haters tried to butt in on the trend, expressing truly mean-spirited thoughts about Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.
