Valentine’s Day Special ‘Single Blizzard’ Offered By Dairy Queen

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Dairy Queen is well aware of that fact, since they have decided to do something special for those who may be spending February 14 by themselves. According to WPTV, if you’re single on Valentine’s Day, Dairy Queen’s “Single Blizzard” should help heal your lonely heart, or at least satisfy your taste buds.

Reese’s peanut butter cups, salted caramel truffles, and peanut butter topping sounds like something that could substitute for a romantic dinner for two. Surely, people will want to be out and about on Valentine’s Day and if you happen to be single, you don’t have to sit around the house while all of your married friends are out being romantic.

Though, truth be told, you don’t necessarily need to be single in order to get a Single Blizzard. Whether you’re in a relationship or not, anybody looking to quench their thirst can head right over to Dairy Queen and try this treat, the first of its kind that will last all through the month of February.

Valentine’s Day is, of course, a perfect opportunity for any business and eatery to capitalize on the idea of love and romance, not just Dairy Queen. Fortune reports that Starbucks, White Castle, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and more all have special items on their menu just for Valentine’s Day. So if you don’t happen to live near a Dairy Queen, surely one of these other restaurants are nearby for you.

Waffle House, for example, is a fairly popular choice for couples on V-Day, and they will no doubt be rolling out the red carpet this upcoming Sunday and offering one special menu just for the occasion. If you happen to be in the mood for Mexican food on Valentine’s Day, Qdoba is offering a pretty unique and cute promotion. All you have to do is pucker up — kiss the person you came in with, the person behind you in line, or you can even kiss yourself — in order to get a buy-one-get-one-free entrée. If nothing else, it’s an easy excuse to kiss someone attractive who you never have to see again, if they’ll let you.

Valentine’s Day, Valentine Frappuccino, Love Bean Frappuccino — if these all sound enticing to you, then you may want to head on over to Starbucks this Sunday. You and your lover, or just yourself, can enjoy Strawberries & Crème Frappucino with raspberry syrup pumps, or Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with raspberry syrup pumps, with raspberry-infused whipped cream and chocolate curls on top. Their Java Berry Frappuccino even comes with raspberry syrup pumps, raspberry-infused whipped cream, and chocolate curls. It might just be the perfect treat after a sweet, romantic kiss.

Shake Shack will be handing out a free milkshake for your partner when you order one for yourself. It looks like this V-Day promotion will require you to be in a relationship, or at least just another person to go with you. For those who want to try something festive as soon as they wake up in the morning, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering four special Valentine’s Day doughnuts. They include the Sprinkle Heart, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, Luv Bug, and Bee Mine. The most romantic of them all is the Sprinkle Heart, a doughnut shaped like a heart and covered with Valentine’s Day sprinkles.

Want some real food? Maybe try Fogo de Chão this weekend. They’re offering a special Valentine’s Dining Card for couples who dine there this weekend. On your next visit, you can redeem the Dining Card for a complimentary lunch or dinner. Whatever you choose, happy Valentine’s Day!
