‘Abducted: The Jocelyn Shaker Story’: Lifetime Thrills With Exotic Colombian Resort Movie

Abducted: The Jocelyn Shaker Story is an emotional new Lifetime movie thriller that will premiere on Sunday. Also known as Abduction of Jocelyn Shaker, the movie follows the story of a young American mother who is on a mission to find her small daughter, who was abducted at a Colombian resort.

Abducted: The Jocelyn Shaker Story is directed by Conor Allyn and written by Alex Wright and Alex Greenfield. The story is by Andres’ Buigues and Jeremy Floyd, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). The cast of this latest Lifetime TV movie stars, Kathleen Rose Perkins as 30-year old Caitlin Shaker, Kamar de los Reyes as 40-year-old Javier, Marcela Mar as Maria, and Eileen Roca Torralvo as Susanna.

Abducted: The Jocelyn Shaker Story centers around the beautiful Caitlin Shaker, a 30-year old American woman divorcee who has found love again in 40-year-old Javier, a Colombian businessman who is madly in love with her and desires to legally adopt her 7-year-old daughter, Jocelyn. They are living their new lives in complete bliss, until a Colombian vacation at an exotic resort turns into a brutal nightmare when little Jocelyn Shaker disappears.

Caitlyn makes the discovery after going up to check on Jocelyn in the hotel room where she was left sleeping while the couple discussed a business investment with Javier’s business partner, Maria.

Suddenly, the tranquil Bogota resort that is nestled in the middle of rain forest becomes a chaotic scene as local police try their best to help the American woman find her child. With the help of a few locals who are also frantically aiding in the search, Caitlyn shakes things up in the foreign country as she turns over every stone to try to find her child.

In the meantime, the Colombian police detectives have arrested her new groom, Javier, accusing him of being the one who took Jocelyn. However, Caitlin is convinced that it wasn’t her husband, and she finds proof, indicating that another person very close to Javier wants to break up his new family in order to seal a business deal.

Abducted: Jocelyn Shaker Story is full of intrigue and rife with blazing jealousies that threaten the very union of Javier and Caitlin’s new relationship. Lifetime viewers will surely enjoy the exotic location and the colors that light up the scenes in this Colombian flick.
