‘Fallout 4’ Update For PS4, Xbox One Arriving ‘In The Next Few Days’

A Fallout 4 update was released for PC last week. Now, fans are anticipating the imminent release of patch 1.3 for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

It was initially expected that the new update for Fallout’s fourth installment will arrive the same week it was made available for the PC version. But apparently, it was changed to a later release, with Bethesda still not announcing a specific launch schedule for the newest update.

However, in a recent Twitter response that the game publisher Bethesda Softworks made, the release timeframe for “Fallout 4” update was hinted, saying that it will be available “in the next few days.” Check out the Twitter conversation below between Bethesda and a user with handler @JeremiahRain05.

The “Fallout 4” 1.3 update is currently available for PC users as an automatic download on Steam, according to official Bethesda website. The post noted that the latest game update brings in several new features. Furthermore, fans can also expect fixes for quests and the Workshop Mode, as well as for the game’s general gameplay performance.

New features include additional status menu for settlers in their settlements. The “ESDF” keys have been enhanced as well. For the gameplay fixes, players who update their Fallout 4 game will now be able to experience better performance when looking through a scope. The patch note also revealed that “Big Leagues perk now displays calculated damage correctly.”

Subtitles should be able to update now and third person camera should work properly when players exit particular crafting stations.

NPCs should not be stuck in Power Armor anymore after updating the game. Also, Fallout gamers should be able to see proper calculation of headshot percentages for MacReady’s Killshot perk. Also, players should now be able to use robotics expert in combat.

Even though fixes have been made through the latest “Fallout 4” update, Gotta Be Mobile shared that new problems are being experienced by PC users. Accordingly, complaints about the latest patch include issues in textures, loading screen, game crashes, among others.

Those who wish to send feedback regarding the game’s performance especially after the release of this newest Fallout 4 update can easily do so via the game developer’s support page.

Fallout 4, released last year, particularly on November 10, was claimed to be the Bethesda’s “most ambitious game ever, and the next generation of open-world gaming,” as noted on the official page for the game on the developer’s website.

On Metacritic, the game received favorable reviews, having a Metascore of 84. Moreover, below is the game’s summary posted on the site:

“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home.”

Aside from the free “Fallout 4” update which provide game fixes and new features, DLCs are also expected to arrive this year. N4BB shared that it is most likely the first Fallout 4 DLC will be available early this 2016, though Bethesda has not made any announcements yet regarding a specific launch window. The post also noted that the arrival of the downloadable content before March ends “seems reasonable.”

Also, Bethesda has not shared an update yet regarding the content details for the new Fallout 4 DLC but it is most likely that it will bring in new missions, new rewards like perks and weapons as well as new maps and locations to explore, the post also noted.
