Unaired ‘RHOA’ Clip: NeNe Leakes Tells Sheree Whitfield That Phaedra Parks And Porsha Williams Gave Her ‘Side Eyes’

NeNe Leakes is celebrating her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Since her appearance on Sunday night’s episode, NeNe has been retweeting fans’ tweets that state how much better the show is with her on it. On Tuesday, NeNe retweeted a tweet that proclaimed that “the Queen” of Bravo is back. Another tweet that NeNe retweeted stated that NeNe brings the show its highest ratings, something that Kenya can’t do. “2 snaps,” NeNe responded, making it clear that she agrees with the sentiment that she is bigger than Kenya.

NeNe also retweeted a tweet that stated that it’s not a coincidence that the show gets beyond 3 million viewers when NeNe is on the episode.

Yet NeNe Leakes herself has admitted that not everyone on the cast may be happy about her return. An unaired clip from Sunday night’s episode that was posted on the BravoTV website shows NeNe asking Sheree Whitfield if she thinks the other women were happy to see her when she showed up to their group dinner while in Jamaica. Sheree, who was in NeNe’s hotel room the morning after NeNe’s arrival, said that she didn’t think that anybody, herself included, expected her to show up. “Even Porsha and Phaedra, your girls, seemed surprised. They didn’t know?” asked Sheree.

NeNe then told Sheree that she feels as if Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks were giving her funny looks.

“No but I really think they’re acting funny. I feel like they were looking at me side eyes, like [gives a side eye].”

In her interview, NeNe said that she thought Phaedra and Porsha would be more excited to see her again.

“I thought Phaedra and Porsha would be a lot more excited to see me. But actually they, my home girls, were kinda like, “Hey.” And I’m like, “Uh, hey! It’s NeNe! I mean, your girl! [Laughs]”

Later in their conversation, NeNe and Sheree laugh about how much Phaedra and Porsha like to do their “booty shaking” and “twerking.”

So far, NeNe is laughing about Porsha and Phaedra’s reactions but will viewers see her having some tension with them in future episodes? NeNe got closer to Porsha and Phaedra last season, when she and Cynthia Bailey were still on the outs. NeNe’s friendship with Phaedra especially blossomed. It was actually Phaedra telling the other housewives that she felt that Kandi Burruss wasn’t as supportive as she thought she would be and saying in media interviews that it was NeNe who was there for her the most, as she went through her drama with estranged husband Apollo Nida, that contributed to Kandi and Phaedra’s falling out last season.

After season 7 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta finished filming, Kandi and NeNe started feuding with one another after NeNe saw Kandi say, in an episode, that the other women are kissing up to NeNe and that NeNe likes to mark her territory. Kandi also publicly said that NeNe thinks that she’s better than everyone else. Yet it seems that the two women have since made up. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, both NeNe and Kandi recently poked fun at Kandi’s supposedly bad reaction to NeNe’s return.

As Porsha Williams films Celebrity Apprentice, her Dish Nation host role is being filled by various guests. Earlier in the week, Porsha’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Kim Fields filled in for her. On Wednesday, Phaedra Parks filled in for her. Perhaps NeNe Leakes will be next?
