‘Real Housewives’ Star Robyn Dixon Opens Up About Her Confusing Relationship

The Real Housewives of Potomac star Robyn Dixon has fallen a bit into the background, because of the drama with her co-stars. Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant have stolen the show thus far, even though Robyn has an interesting situation going on at home. Like some other housewives, Dixon has struggled in her marriage, and she decided to get a divorce. But she may be holding on to her relationship. According to a new Radar Online report, Real Housewives of Potomac star Robyn Dixon is now opening up about her situation with partner Juan Dixon.

“We got divorced because we weren’t in a good place in our relationship and there was kind of some infidelity and we weren’t really in tune and connected,” Dixon revealed to OK! Magazine, according to Radar Online. “Something had to change, and unfortunately it was drastic.”

But something changed after they got divorced. It is a similar thing that NeNe Leakes went through when she decided to divorce Gregg Leakes. Like Dixon, NeNe didn’t feel that her relationship was the same, and she decided to pull the plug. But after being separated for a while, sparks started to fly again, and NeNe decided to give him another shot. And it appears to be the same thing for Robyn Dixon and her partner, Juan Dixon.

“We weren’t living together when we got divorced,” Dixon admitted. “He kind of moved in about two years after we got divorced.”

As she explains, she and Juan have been together for years. They were high school sweethearts, and they tried to make it work for a long time. On The Real Housewives of Potomac, Robyn Dixon revealed that they had struggled financially and were trying to get back on their feet. And it sounds like they are getting back together in their own way.

“Juan and I have a very long history and we will always be family and connected and always have a genuine love for one another,” Robyn Dixon revealed to the magazine, adding, “Around that time, it was almost like maybe light bulbs go off and you kind of realize that certain things you need to change. It kind of happened, we realized there was a much bigger picture out there for our family and us. The best way at that time to live life was to congregate together and be supportive of each other. We are each other’s best friend and supporter — and the best way to get through some the things we were going through was together.”

They are clearly great together as parents. Juan and Robyn work together to get the children up in the morning, and it sounds like their kids don’t notice that their parents are married. In the interview, Robyn Dixon reveals that she still sleeps in the same bed as her ex-husband, they still share a kiss goodbye in the morning, and they still act and function as a married couple. They may just be confused as to what to do with their relationship.

Luckily for Robyn, her marriage isn’t the focus of the show these days. According to Reality Tea, the focus is more on Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant. But Robyn herself has a few things to say about Ashley.

“Ashley seemed very pressed to be our friend, but instead of making us like her, she just looked thirsty! If first impressions are really lasting impressions, then Ashley will NEVER be taken seriously by me! I mean, really, what grown woman humps another grown woman at a charity event, especially upon meeting for the first time? I thought a horny poodle had attacked me and wouldn’t let go,” Dixon reveals about her co-star, according to Reality Tea.
