Susan Sarandon Photobombs ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Cast At SAG Awards

The cast of Straight Outta Compton may have been snubbed by the Oscars but they were stars at Saturday night’s SAG Awards. As the cast of the N.W.A. biopic posed on the SAG red carpet for a group shot, Susan Sarandon hilariously photobombed the group. The picture of Sarandon posing wide-mouthed in the middle of the Straight Outta Compton cast has gone viral despite criticism for her overly sexy award show look.

The SAG Awards certainly aren’t the most exciting awards show of the season but they are important anyway. Susan Sarandon must have been looking for a bit of fun as she entered the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday. As the cast of Straight Outta Compton posed together for some red carpet photos, Sarandon stood behind the group of men and photobombed one of the pictures while making the funniest face.

It turns out that Susan Sarandon wasn’t the only actress at the SAG Awards who wanted a picture with the Straight Outta Compton cast. Modern Family star Julie Bowen was also on the red carpet when the men were posing for pictures. The Daily Mail reports that Julie posed for a picture with Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Neil Brown, Jr., Aldis Hodge, and O’Shea Jackson, Jr. as well but she opted for a more formal pose.

At least, Straight Out Of Compton wasn’t snubbed at the SAG Awards much the way many feel they were when it came to the Academy Awards. The cast was nominated for the Outstanding Performance award along with Beasts Of No Nation, The Big Short, Spotlight, and Trumbo and the award went to the cast of Spotlight.

In the midst of a huge controversy with the Oscars ongoing snub of minority actors, many have pointed out the diversity of the SAG Awards. Where no minority actors were even nominated for an award at the 2016 Academy Awards, diversity abounded at the SAG Awards both in the list of nominations and the winners. Idris Elba took home a trophy for Beasts of No Nation, which many have argued deserved several Oscar nominations. Elba also won for his role in the British crime drama Luther. Uzo Aduba, Queen Latifah, and Viola Davis all left the SAG Awards with a win as well.

Susan Sarandon started some more waves during the SAG Awards with an outfit that some thought would be more becoming on a much younger woman. The amazingly beautiful Sarandon wore a bra top covered by a blazer to present the In Memorium portion of the SAG Awards. Sarandon was definitely showing off her assets, the 69-year-old acting legend’s cleavage was on full display during the awards show. There’s no argument that Sarandon looked fabulous, especially considering her age, but that didn’t stop social media for going nuts over her exposed cleavage and midriff. It’s a safe bet those guys from Straight Outta Compton didn’t mind Susan Sarandon’s outfit at all while posing with her on the red carpet.
