‘Vogue Korea’ Photo Shoot Sees Jaden Smith Strip Down To Nothing But A Skirt

For many teenage girls, Jaden Smith is the heart-throb that they can only dream of. Well, fans of Smith are now in for a treat as the star has stripped down to nothing but a skirt in a new photo shoot for Vogue Korea, and it’s all part of his quest to make fashion gender neutral — which his pretty obvious by his choice of attire here.

That being said, if anyone can pull of a skirt, it’s definitely Jaden! The hunky star definitely knows how to rock the simplistic black skirt look and we respect his stance on gender neutrality at the same time.

Jaden Smith, the son of Will Smith, is surprisingly only 17-years-old, and has recently taken part in a somewhat feminine photoshoot with the Korean branch of Vogue. He managed to show off his incredibly buff chest in the upper half of the picture whilst the lower half of that same picture takes an altogether much more feminine approach. Jaden Smith definitely isn’t a girly figure, but it’s pretty clear that he’s doing his best to blur the lines between genders and make the fashion industry much more equal.

Jaden definitely has something of a bold past when it comes to fashion, and has always been pretty confident in pulling off controversial fashion statements. In fact, we definitely loved the touch of a red flower and feminine hairstyle that Smith adopted in this shoot. If anyone can be an advocate for gender fluidity, we’d say that Jaden Smith stands a good shot. In a world where too many stars are preaching about gender fluidity, it’s refreshing to see that Jaden Smith has put his words into action with this unique and possibly controversial shoot.

You likely already known Jaden Smith as the son of both Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. That being said, it’s fair to say that the star has already had an incredibly successful career of his own as both an actor and rapper. His first film role came in the form of The Pursuit of Happyness in 2006, where he starred alongside his father. Since then, he’s also appeared in hits such as The Day the Earth Stood Still and a remake of The Karate Kid. More recently, he has starred again alongside his father in After Earth and launched something of a successful rapping career. Not bad for a 17-year-old, huh?

However, it’s pretty clear that Jaden Smith is now making an attempt to break away from the image of his parents and stand out as a star in his own right. This is definitely pretty clear through Smith’s bold fashion statements and countless appearances in world known fashion publications. He’s not alone in that love of female fashion either, as a slew of male celebs including Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Mos Def, A$AP Rocky, Vin Diesel, and more have all come out to share their admiration for female fashion.

However, we’d definitely say that out of that list, Smith has been the most actionable. In fact, we can’t wait to see where Smith heads next in the world of fashion and it won’t be long before he’s giving the likes of Sarah Brannon and Jean Campbell a run for their money.

We’re also excited to see where the young star’s career heads in general now and whether or not he signs a deal for an upcoming film. Either way, we’re in huge admiration of Jaden Smith’s stance on gender fluidity and what he’s doing for the community.
