‘RHOBH’ Faye Resnick & Kathryn Edwards Feud Over Nicole Brown Simpson Affair Claims

Faye Resnick will come face-to-face with Kathryn Edwards on tonight’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Over two decades after Faye Resnick published her shocking tell-all, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted, she and Edwards attend the same dinner party — and the result is quite messy.

During dinner, which was also attended by Faye Resnick’s longtime friend, Kyle Richards, Faye Resnick briefly leaves the table, making way for Lisa Rinna to get to the bottom of their issues before she returns.

“[Faye Resnick] capitalized on a tragedy! Horrible… She wrote a book,” Edwards explains to Rinna in a sneak peek at the January 26 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “She wrote a book, back in the days, 21 years ago, and spoke about me.”

In her book, Faye Resnick spoke about the private life of the late Nicole Brown, claiming that shortly after her separation from O.J. Simpson, Brown engaged in a sexual relationship with former NFL running back Marcus Allen, who was engaged, and then married, to Edwards. Although both Edwards and Allen immediately denied the allegations of Faye Resnick, they divorced several years later, and Edwards has now been married to Donnie Edwards, also a former NFL star, for over a decade. Still, the comments made by Faye Resnick have remained in the mind of Edwards.

“[Faye Resnick] put herself in the situation right after Nicole was murdered, and she wrote a book about it, she posed for Playboy. I’m sure she liked the limelight. I mean, come on. She was having her 15 minutes. Ugh!” Edwards said during her confessional.

Continuing on to her co-stars in the preview clip, Edwards said, “There’s very few people in my life that I’ve carried a dagger for, like if I ever get the chance to say what I… [Faye Resnick is] one of them, and right now, I’m like, ‘Come on with it!'”

“I’m the type of person that like ammos myself up. Like if you get in my crawl, it’s rapid fire.”

Although Edwards wants to hash things out with Faye Resnick once and for all, Resnick is seen talking to Kyle Richards in a separate scene, claiming she doesn’t want to discuss Brown, or the past.

While Faye Resnick wrote a book about the intimate life of her late friend, she appears hesitant to talk about the issue on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and recently took to Twitter, claiming Bravo shouldn’t have aired details regarding Brown on the show.

“I’m so upset Bravo would air something so hurtful,” Faye Resnick responded to a fan, who had told her, “[People] are hard on [Faye Resnick] but its gotta be weird to have a murdered friend be fodder for reality TV.”

After her tweet was posted, Faye Resnick made her Twitter account private in order to keep fans away from her personal thoughts.

While Edwards is no fan of Faye Resnick, and understandably so, she and Richards don’t appear to be on that bad of terms. Instead, the two women seem to be giving their friendship a real shot — at least on-screen — which is sure to be interesting to see in the coming weeks.
