The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease big drama is ahead in Genoa City for Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) Newman. All eyes are on the strained relationship as Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) tries to convince Nick to have his wife committed to Fairview — and if that happens, she’d be under Dr. Anderson’s care. If (and when) that happens, the shady doctor would be able to have her way and pump her with God knows what psychiatric drugs, which would further enable her revenge plot against the Newman family.
Soap Central reported during the week of January 25-29 that Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), Sage, and Nick will speculate about Dr. Anderson and all feel that the circumstances surrounding Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) birth were strange, and Dylan points out that Dr. Anderson is in the middle of all the action. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that everyone suspects that Dr. Anderson’s motives are not entirely selfless — everyone but Sharon.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that there is one person that still believes in Dr. Anderson’s treatment — Sharon McAvoy. Sharon still believes that the shady doctor is trying to help her, and that Sage is a danger to her and Sully’s well-being. Sharon was not ready to embrace that her shrink could be anything less than a miracle worker, and refused to allow Sage to see Sully, and asked her to leave her home. Sage was not angry with Sharon; she knew the whole situation was orchestrated by the evil Dr. Anderson.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Nick will agree with Sage that something is off with Dr. Anderson, and arranges a meeting with the shrink. Nick tells Dr. Anderson that he feels anxious about Sage’s attachment to Sully and is worried that she is losing a grip on reality. Dr. Anderson recommends a radical treatment for Sage; Dr. Anderson suggests Nick commit her in Fairview immediately.
The Young and the Restless spoiler state that Nick is rendered speechless by the suggestion and asked her if it was necessary. Dr. Anderson tells her it is needed as she fears that Sage will hurt herself if they don’t act quickly. Nick reveals that he isn’t sure what to do because he just wants Sage to get better; he loves her! Dr Anderson tried to explain why Sage needed prompt inpatient treatment; however, Nick was not entirely convinced.
She Knows Soaps reported that Dylan will join in the quest to find out more about Dr. Anderson’s past. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Nick has a hunch that she is connected to his family’s past somehow. Nick and Sage tell Dylan they should start by uncovering what her maiden name is, as Anderson is either a married or assumed name. Dylan agreed to look into it further because his wife and child’s lives are at stake.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nick and Sage learn that their child, Christian, may not have died after all. During February Sweeps, they figure out that it is possible their child is alive and in Genoa City. Sharon will discover during the first week of February that Sully and her do not share any DNA. Y&R spoilers tease that she will cover it up, out of fear that someone will take the baby from her if she reveals the truth. Will Nick and Sage discover that Sully is actually their son, Christian?
