Ashley Tisdale’s New Album & Make-Up Line — Everything You Need To Know

Following the recent success of the 10 year High School Musical reunion, Ashley Tisdale appears to be gearing up to take over both the music and the make-up world.

Tisdale, who hasn’t released a full-length album since 2009’s Guilty Pleasure, recently spoke about her plans to release a third studio album with Entertainment Tonight. Ashley admitted that she’s working hard to find a direction for her upcoming musical release.

“I have some ideas, but I’m just in the studio kind of feeling out where my voice is,” Ashley told the site earlier this week of her plans to return to the music scene. “Right now I’m just trying to figure out what kind of music I want to do and where I fit in,” Tisdale said.

Though Ashley stayed tight-lipped when it came to any further details, she did reveal to MTV News back in 2013 that her upcoming release, which is yet to receive an official release date, is very much a work-in-progress. “I’m still trying to find exactly where I want to go with that,” Ashley said at the time. “I’ve been heading towards a specific direction and I think that’s where I’m going to be.”

“It’s obviously still pop and we’ve been playing with more dance pop,” Tisdale continued, detailing her foray back into the world of music. “My last album was pop rock, so I definitely kind of have been more into the dancier type of pop songs… It’s definitely heavily pop for sure.”

In the same 2013 interview, Ashley Tisdale also told MTV News that she may even find herself releasing a string of singles rather than a full-length album in the near future.

“I don’t even know if I’m just going to do singles or do an album. It’s really just me going into the studio and doing what I love,” Tisdale said of her new project. “I’ve been inspired to start doing music again. I’ve been really excited to be back in the studio and figuring out what that next sound is.”

Ashley Tisdale also confessed to the site that she’s “definitely missed” being a popstar during her musical hiatus, during which time she got married and starred in the TBS sitcom Clipped; but, she added that she’s “having a lot of fun” being back in the studio.

Despite a lack of new music, there’s no doubting that Ashley Tisdale has been a very busy lady since Guilty Pleasure hit shelves seven years ago. Just this past week, Tisdale unveiled her own make-up line in collaboration with BH cosmetics.

Tisdale took to Instagram to give her more than 6.1 million followers a first look at the luxurious packaging for her new collection; she admitted that she was “so excited” to share her newest beauty venture.

Ashley Tisdale posted a photo of the white and metallic striped make-up packaging, and encouraged her fans to “sign up” to learn more about the product. The big reveal came just weeks after Tisdale revealed that her make-up line was actually partly inspired by Kim Kardashian and her personal make-up artist, Mario Dedivanovic.

Ashley confessed on her official website, HauteMess.com, that she attended one of Mario’s make-up masterclasses back in August and sat for four hours watching Kim get “get her makeup done” in front of the class.
