Miranda Lambert Enjoys A Girl’s Weekend As Boyfriend Anderson East Supports Her New Song
Miranda Lambert is focused on her girls and her music, but luckily, her new boyfriend, Anderson East, who is also quite busy with his own career, is totally supportive. Over the weekend, Miranda Lambert offered an update with fans on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself and her friends, and telling fans she had a “great” weekend with friends — and a couple of cute pigs.
“I made some new friends today! Priscilla and Poppleton!!! Thanks @prissy_pig for coming to say hi and meeting my Gypsy Vanners!” Miranda Lambet wrote with a second post, which included herself and the pigs. “I can’t wait to see you two again! #pigsandponys #oinkmygoodness #piglove #bestdayever.”
Although East was not present during Miranda Lambert’s farm fun, he did make it a point to support her new song, “Sweet By and By,” by sharing a screenshot of a purchase he made on Instagram. While the album in which Miranda Lambert is featured, Southern Family (also featuring Zac Brown, Shooter Jennings, Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell), won’t hit stores until March, East has already pre-ordered his copy.
In the caption, East wrote, “I got mine.”

Miranda Lambert began dating East at the end of last year, about six months after her husband of four-years, Blake Shelton, filed for divorce. And while an exact scenario for how they met has yet to be revealed, it is very likely that the two met while working on the Southern Family album together. As Nashville Gab revealed earlier this month, East is featured on the upcoming album, as well.

Miranda Lambert kept her relationship under wraps for the first few weeks, but then, after Us Weekly confirmed the pair was an item, she posted a photo of the two of them wrapped in a flannel blanket on her Instagram account.
Miranda Lambert is “doing really, really well,” a source told People Magazine on January 6.
Weeks after their relationship began, Miranda Lambert and East rang in the New Year together and also did some skiing.
“She’s happy,” a source said of Miranda Lambert, who split from Blake Shelton in July of last year. “She’s looking forward to the new year.”
“I just want to live a life full of everything,” Miranda Lambert told Cosmopolitan at the end of last year, according to People Magazine. “I just love what I do so much. I love songwriting and the road and the family of country music. I love being a female in country music and lifting up other females of country. I’m more in it right now than I ever have been.”
As Miranda Lambert enjoys her new romance with East, her ex-husband, Shelton, is in a full-fledged, highly-publicized relationship with his co-star on The Voice, Gwen Stefani, who ironically announced her own divorce just weeks after Miranda Lambert’s split from Shelton was revealed.
In addition to Miranda Lambert’s upcoming single, the country singer will soon embark on a worldwide tour with fellow country stars Kenny Chesney and Sam Hunt, who she was linked to for months before announcing her relationship with East. The tour, which will take Miranda Lambert to Ireland, England and Scotland, is set to begin in March of this year.
Although Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband has not yet commented publicly on her romance with East, his girlfriend, Stefani, recently shut down rumors of a possible feud with Miranda Lambert when she followed her on Twitter, and favorited one of her tweets.
