Jacqueline Laurita Says Melissa Gorga Thanked Teresa Giudice For Her Support
Jacqueline Laurita has defended her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Melissa Gorga against someone who accused her of treating Teresa Giudice poorly. Jacqueline also criticized the person for being so negative.
On Saturday, Jacqueline posted a photo of herself at the grand opening party of Melissa’s clothing boutique, Envy, in Montclair, New Jersey. The grand opening took place last Thursday. The photo shows Jacqueline wearing a white top, black blazer, and a long black skirt. The skirt came from Melissa’s store. Melissa left a comment telling Jacqueline that she looked “so chic and beautiful.”
Not all of the comments were positive. One person wrote that Melissa didn’t thank her sister-in-law for going to the grand opening. The viewer added that Melissa is ungrateful. Jacqueline replied that Melissa did thank Teresa and that she thanked everyone. Jacqueline also asked the person why she’s being so negative.
“jaclaurita: Yes she did @penelope_213Melissa thanked everyone. It’s sad to me that you’re such a negative person. Why is that?”
The person, with the Instagram handle @penelope_213, continued with her negative comments. She maintained that Melissa didn’t thank Teresa at all and wrote that Melissa should give Teresa extra recognition because without her, she wouldn’t be on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The viewer also wrote that Melissa once said that she was moving because Teresa’s children were bullying her children.
Yet both Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have said that they’re getting along and supporting one another since Teresa was released from prison shortly before Christmas. On the night of the grand opening, Teresa told E! News that she’s there to support Melissa.
“I’m feeling great. I’m happy to be here to support my brother and my sister-in-law Melissa for the grand opening on her boutique Envy.”
Teresa also complimented Melissa’s style sense.
“[Melissa] has great style and you see her on the red carpet and you see her being photographed, so, and you can tell from the photographs that she has great style.”
An eyewitness from the night told Entertainment Tonight that Melissa and Teresa got along well at the event.
“When Teresa walked into the store, Melissa immediately ran up to her and hugged her. She brought Gia along. Gia and her mom looked like they were having a fun girls night out. Teresa was in great spirits and was talking to all the girls.”
Melissa herself told Entertainment Tonight that Teresa is happy and calm.
“She’s holding up amazing, she is doing so well. She is so happy to be home, and her spirits are high and she is very zen. She is zen, so it’s amazing, it’s really nice.”
On Sunday, Melissa posted a photo of herself with Teresa at the grand opening.

Prior to going to the event, Teresa thanked some skin professionals for tending to her skin at her home. Teresa got a facial treatment called HydraFacial.

Teresa’s cousin, Kathy Wakile, also attended the event. Melissa left a comment on Kathy’s photo thanking her for coming and telling her that she looks beautiful. By the end of Season 6, Kathy and Teresa were not on speaking terms. Yet perhaps Kathy, like Melissa, has been able to patch things up with Teresa?
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will reportedly star Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Jacqueline Laurita. Kathy Wakile, Siggy Flicker, Robyn Levy, Christina Flores, and Dolores Catania are also a part of the new season’s cast, either in full-time or part-time roles.
