WWE Rumors, Spoilers: Preview Of ‘Raw’ Features More Brock Lesnar On ‘Royal Rumble’ Go-Home Show
There is just one week week until the Royal Rumble 2016, and fans are ready for the huge 30-superstar match that now has the WWE World Heavyweight Title at stake. Monday Night Raw is the big go-home show for the fun pay-per-view, and it is now known that Brock Lesnar will be on it and Roman Reigns is looking for revenge.
The official Monday Night Raw “Five-Point Preview” has been released on WWE.com, and it details the key points for this week’s show. There is bound to be a lot more happening and if history is any indication, there will be a big brawl to end the night.
Is Reigns ready for The Beast…and 28 other Superstars?
Roman Reigns has to face off against 29 other superstars to hold onto his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. If he’s lucky, he will draw a number in at least the bottom half so he won’t have to be in it as long.
Last week, he experienced a little of what it will be like when he had to take on numerous heels in the main event and was beaten down by all of them. All it takes is one man though, and Brock Lesnar came out at the end to prove he won’t be stopped and can take on one or all. It doesn’t matter to him.
Reigns may look to get revenge this week and go into the Royal Rumble standing tall.
Social distortion
They’ve been held down and forgotten about, but that’s why they are the Social Outcasts. Heath Slater is leading his team of Curtis Axel, Adam Rose, and Bo Dallas to new things and they’re not all that bad.
Even though they aren’t officially announced as entering the rumble match, WWE.com has hinted that the four will have an impact on it. Look for a number of new names to be announced for the big battle royal this Monday.
Will Charlotte accept Becky Lynch’s Royal Rumble challenge?
For weeks, the heel turn from Charlotte has been teased and it looks like it is now in full force and she is learning from her father, Ric Flair. Her former friend Becky Lynch wants a shot at the Divas Championship and has laid one down. Look for Charlotte to accept and add another match to the Royal Rumble card.
Can Kalisto reclaim the U.S. Title?
On Monday, Kalisto pulled one of the biggest upsets in a long time by defeating Alberto Del Rio for the United States Championship. No one exactly saw it coming and it was rather unexpected, but he won the belt clean and in a really good match.
On Thursday, Del Rio won back the title on SmackDown as recapped by WWE.com, but it certainly wasn’t done cleanly. King Barrett interfered to help his fellow member of the League of Nations. With this being in the preview for this week’s Raw, expect a possible rubber match to be announced for the Royal Rumble.
Last Lunatic Standing
Dean Ambrose threw down the challenge of a Last Man Standing Match for the Intercontinental Title to Kevin Owens last week. Now, the two will face off at the Royal Rumble in what promises to be an extremely entertaining and brutal bout.
While there is still SmackDown to be taped on Tuesday and then aired on Thursday, Monday Night Raw is essentially going to be where final touches are made to the Royal Rumble. It’s going to be interesting to see how Roman Reigns fights back, if other matches are added, and if Brock Lesnar stands tall as the show goes off the air.
