‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers Week 3: Olivia Plays Dirty, Lace Leaves Ben For Another Reality TV Gig

The Bachelor returns for Week 3 on January 18 and Ben Higgins will start to narrow down the playing field by eliminating more girls and focusing on the ones who may make it to the season finale.

The third episode will feature two one-on-one dates and a group date, with three girls left dateless at the Bachelor mansion — Becca, JoJo and Caila. Who goes on this week’s dates, who leaves during the cocktail party, and who are the two girls that Ben sends home at the rose ceremony?

Get the scoop on this week’s spoilers below, along with several new preview videos from ABC. Olivia continues to win the villain of the season award this week and if you’ve had enough of Lace’s crazy antics, find out what she does that leads to a new reality TV gig outside of the mansion.

Last week, Ben eliminated three girls (Sam Passmore, Jackie Dion, Mandi Kremer) and one left on her own (Lauren Barr), leaving 17 girls to fight for time with Ben this week. This week’s dates will take place in and around Los Angeles. Next week, the traveling begins for Ben and his remaining girls (see a full travel itinerary here).

According to Buddy TV, 12 girls will get picked for this week’s group date that sounds an awful lot like one of Bachelor Juan Pablo’s date. Amanda, Shushanna, Lace, Jami, Emily, Haley, Rachel, Jen, Olivia, Leah, Amber, and Lauren H. will split up into two teams and play soccer.

This week’s guest stars are two players from the World Cup Champion U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team — Alex Morgan and Kelly O’Hara — who will coach the girls to a win. The winning team will spend time with Ben after the game.

In the preview below from ABC, Olivia gets some alone time with Ben during the after-date cocktail party. Ben doesn’t look pleased when she shows off to the girls that she is up in a hotel room with him. Amber is rumored to get the group date rose and that won’t go over well with Olivia.

Jubilee Sharpe and Lauren Bushnell are the luckiest ladies in the house this week — they both get a one-on-one date. Although ABC’s preview shows that Jubilee will spit up her sushi and reveal that she’d prefer a hot dog, it doesn’t seem to turn Ben off. They spend much of their date at a spa and he gives her a rose.

Lauren and Ben’s first date includes a quick plane trip to what looks like a giant field. Of course, there’s a hot tub there and Ben gets to go shirtless on the second hot tub date of the season. According to Reality Steve, Ben gives Lauren a rose and she’ll move on to the next week. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Ben was smitten with Lauren as soon as she stepped out of the limo, so fans can expect her to stick around right through to the overnight dates.

Three girls go dateless this week (JoJo, Caila and Becca) but they will be back on the date-train next week.

Previews indicate that Lace gets even crazier this week and her journey on the Bachelor comes to an end. Before Ben has a chance to eliminate her, she leaves during the cocktail party. It won’t come as a big surprise that the show’s creator, Mike Fleiss, recently told E! News that Lace will be part of the Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 cast, so expect her brand of craziness to continue this summer.

After Lace’s departure, the girls head to the rose ceremony where Ben decides to send Shushanna Mkrtychyan and Jami Letain home. Next week, the cast and crew head to Las Vegas for two more one-on-one dates, a group date, and three eliminations.
