Kylie Jenner’s New Lip Kits: What You Should Know About The New Hues

Kylie Jenner has chosen a name for her new lip kit. After reading through all of the comments from her 48 million followers (and then some) on Instagram, the reality star decided on the name “Posie K” (named by user @shelbyy_cobra) for her new rose-colored shade.

Kylie Jenner is releasing a new lip kit on Valentine’s Day. It was just two months ago with then Keeping Up With the Kardashians star released her first set of Lip Kits, which sold out within minutes. They then reappeared on eBay, but were sold for thousands of dollars. Jenner then restocked her Lip Kits, which sold out again – and made her fans crazy in the process.

There are some fans who are even claiming that they haven’t even received the orders they placed in December yet. On Wednesday, January 13, the teen took to her Lip Kit By Kylie Instagram account to tease the three new shades, along with the three original shades (Candy K, Dolce K, and Brown K), all of which will be available a month from now, on Valentine’s Day. Kylie then revealed that the first color will be chosen by her fans. And that’s how “Posie K” got its name.

In the Instagram post, Jenner teased one of the new shades, which is actually kind of a dark mauve. It looks like her Valentine’s Collection will include some pinks, purples, and hopefully reds in the mix, especially since her first Lip Kits were more neutral shades that don’t flatter every skintone. Jenner also said that the new Lip Kits will have an “exclusive formula” that the original ones don’t have.

“Very excited to share with you one out of three of my new colors for my valentine collection coming up. I’ve been working on a new very exclusive formula that I have absolutely fell in love with… But now I need your help on picking a name for this beauty! Comment below what you think this lip kit should be named and I will pick one!”

Last week, Kylie Jenner teased her new shades on Snapchat in a black-and-white photo. The teen shared the originals swatches on her hand, along with the three new hues. She included the caption: “They are so bomb,” meaning that her fans will love the new shades. On Instagram, Kylie let her fans know that more lip kits are being ordered this time around.

“we will be restocking in the original 3 colors as well as the new ones.. And yes we’ve ordered a lot more for you guys. Thank you for being so amazing and patient. #comingsoon #waitonit,(sic)” she wrote in her Instagram post.

Hopefully, she will be well-stocked for the next launch, and her manufacturer lets customers know when and if they’re receiving the Lip Kits. If you can’t get your hand on Jenner’s popular Lip Kits, then maybe you can try out her Nip + Fab beauty line. She was named Nip + Fab’s brand ambassador in March of last year. Even though Jenner wants to become a makeup maven, she revealed in a new video on her website and app that she wants to wear less makeup this year. Even her 2 1/2-hour makeup routine gets on her nerves sometimes.

“I kind of want to tone it down. I feel like 2016, everyone’s on the natural wave, at least me and my friends. I just want to take my nails off, no hair, no makeup. It’s just too much to maintain sometimes.”

Kylie also debuted a new blunt haircut on Snapchat, causing some to wonder if she won’t go back to her brightly colored wigs. Well, don’t hold out hope just yet. The teen was seen rocking an icy blue wig last weekend, which kind of looks like the one she wore to Coachella, the opening of the Sugar Factory, and the one seen on her Lip Kit by Kylie website.
