‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: Season 6 Will Include ‘The Biggest Moments On Television’

Game of Thrones spoilers feed our excitement about the next season and ramp up anticipation for what the future holds in this tale of noble families at war. Throughout each season we tune in and thrill to the sight of dragons, giants, dwarves, and more. Season 6 of Game of Thrones is set to begin on April 24, and during this time of withdrawal from new episodes, we eagerly seek spoilers for hints of what’s to come. A few have made their way out to the public, most recently from a couple of its stars at a Golden Globes after-party.

Game of Thrones spoilers follow. Do not read any further if you don’t wish to read spoilers.

Entertainment Weekly reports that at the HBO party following the Golden Globe Awards show on Sunday night, Emilia Clarke (known to fans as Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea) touted that Game of Thrones Season 6 will include “the biggest moments on television that have ever existed.” Quite a claim considering the things we’ve seen on the show so far! When asked about the fate of Jon Snow, she simply replied, “it’s going to be big.” Does that mean that he is alive after all? We can hope!

Another Game of Thrones spoiler slipped from the lips of Natalie Dormer (who plays Margaery Tyrell) when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few days ago. Although she told him that she hates spoilers and actually avoids reading scripts for any scenes besides her own in order to keep herself as much in the dark as viewers, she did say that she was in Spain for some of the filming for Season 6. When asked by Jimmy if that was a spoiler given that the last time we saw her character, she was in a dungeon, Dormer tried to backpedal on her Game of Thrones spoiler by saying, “Well, there are dungeons in Spain,” to which Jimmy replied, “But why would one need to go to Spain for a dungeon?” A very good question, Mr. Kimmel! Could this be a Game of Thrones spoiler that tells us that Margaery Tyrell gets out of the dungeon and returns to Highgarden?

Dormer also hinted at another Game of Thrones spoiler that’s been circulating and was hinted at by Emilia Clarke, which is that Jon Snow is still alive. Many believe that the HBO poster for the new season provides a spoiler that Jon Snow is indeed alive. In her Jimmy Kimmel interview, Game of Thrones‘ Natalie Dormer stated that the posters have “given a little bit of the game away” regarding Snow’s fate.

Christian Post recently leaked a Game of Thrones spoiler that the new season will include a massive battle. The scene was reportedly filmed in Northern Ireland and will feature “The Ball of the Six Armies.” There have also been reports of numerous fake dead bodies as well as faked dead horses owned by Umber, Bolton, and Karstack. Sightings of Ramsay hanging on a cross with two bodies have also been reported as well as the presence of Sansa, which we hope means that she will be reunited with brother Jon.

One more Game of Thrones spoiler we can report at this time comes from Fansided. They report that Jaime Lannister will go to the Riverlands in an effort to end a standoff between the Tullys inside the castle and the Lannister and Frey armies besieging the castle. This is expected to take place in the last half of the next season.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on Sunday, April 24.
