2 Chainz Responds To C-Murder Diss Track ‘2 Stainz’

2 Chainz has found himself called out by rapper C-Murder in a new track called “2 Stainz.” It seems that the currently incarcerated rapper is upset about 2 Chainz’s use of the term “TRU.” 2 Chainz responded to C-Murder after hearing the new song made in his honor (or dishonor), but his reaction probably wasn’t what C-Murder anticipated. Will there be a feud between 2 Chainz and C-Murder?

Apparently, C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, doesn’t appreciate 2 Chainz use of the word “TRU.” According to Hip Hop DX, the New Orleans rapper feels like he created the term and used it often. This is true since C-Murder titled his 2002 album Tru Dogs and his 2006 release was titled The Tru Story…Continued. In the meantime, 2 Chainz has released T.R.U. REALigion in 2011, Based on a T.R.U. Story in 2012, and T.R.U. Jack City in 2015.

C-Murder didn’t hold back in the expletive-laden “2 Stainz.”

Miller rapped, “I made this TRU sh*t, 2 Chainz / F*ck you, n**** / P*ssy-*ss n****.”

Then C-Murder goes on to say that 2 Chainz would not be able to deal with a prison sentence like the one he is currently serving.

The cover art for the new diss track is disturbing. It looks like it’s based on 2 ChainZ’s Based on a T.R.U. Story cover art except that “TRU” is crossed out and “Not” is written in. There is also a lot of blood smeared on the C-Murder version, possibly depicting what the New Orleans rapper would like to do if he could get his hands on 2 Chainz for allegedly stealing his idea. Check out the diss track teaser below, as well as 2 Chainz responses, but be warned. The content is full of offensive language and is definitely NSFW.

2 Chainz has already responded to the “2 Stainz” diss track. It sounds like the Atlanta rapper is not mad at all and might even be a bit touched that C-Murder thought to address him. In a video posted to Instagram, 2 Chainz spoke about the new song.

“Man, my partner just notified me that C-Murder made a diss song about me,” 2 Chainz says in the clip. “That’s hard as f*ck. C-Murder always been hard as f*ck. True.”

That wasn’t all, though. 2 Chainz posted another video to Instagram. In that one, he is singing The Stylistics song “You Are Everything.” While it’s unclear what the song has to do with C-Murder and his new diss track, 2 Chainz did manage to caption the video with this message, “Ride and vibe #TRU.” 2 Chainz clearly isn’t worried about how upset C-Miller seems to be over the use of “TRU.”

Many seem to think that 2 Chainz might be taking the diss track differently if C-Murder wasn’t currently spending life in prison for murder. Master P’s brother was convicted for the murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in Harvey, Louisiana, in 2002. C-Murder is still working to overturn that conviction and gain his freedom back.

Will 2 Chainz be singing a different tune if Miller is let out of prison in the future? Also, what about the New Orleans rapper’s family? C-Murder is the brother of both Master P and Silkk the Shocker. He is one of the original No Limit Soldiers and coincidentally got his rap moniker C-Murder because it’s not something he’s afraid to do.

Will C-Murder’s new “2 Stainz” diss track spark a rap feud between himself and 2 Chainz? With the New Orleans rapper currently locked up for life, how will a beef like that work? This may just be the most criticism 2 Chainz has received from a fellow rapper since his career blew up just a few years ago.
