Sylvester Stallone’s Wife, Daughters Look Absolutely Stunning During Red Carpet Appearance

Sylvester Stallone had a great night during the latest edition of the Golden Globes. The veteran actor won an award in the category of Best Supporting Actor for his role in the sports drama Creed, and he enjoyed the moment with the people he loves the most: his daughters and his wife. Sylvester Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, and the couple’s three daughter’s looked absolutely stunning, and they became the talk of the red carpet, Us Weekly reports.

Stallone, who beat Paul Dano for Love & Mercy, Idris Elba for Beasts of No Nation, Mark Rylance for Bridge of Spies, and Michael Shannon for 99 Homes, came to the Golden Globes accompanied by his daughters Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet, and his wife. Although Stallone dressed to impress for the occasion, many Twitter users took a particular interest in the ladies in Stallone’s life.

Sylvester Stallone’s wife and daughters showed their support and were very happy to see him honored for his portrayal of Rocky Balboa, a character who more than 30 years ago launched him to stardom and earned him international fame. His performance also earned him the respect of critics and the public.

The 69-year-old actor was obviously shocked at winning the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture prize at the ceremony, and he even admitted he was so in awe of what was happening that he didn’t even notice the room full of “incredible people applauding.”

“I didn’t expect it at all, and I don’t remember a standing ovation. Was there really?” Stallone was quoted as saying to reporters in the press room. “I was promising myself that I would be very aware the whole time. It proves I am not aware and I got caught up in the emotion. Just the mere fact that these incredible people were applauding, it makes me realize in life, it is really never over until it’s over. It indicates that people should never give up trying.”

According to People, Sylvester also discussed his personal life and admits he used to spend a lot of time on the road until he realized family is “everything.”

“I was kind of a peripatetic actor – I was always on the road. Then I realized family is everything,” an emotional Stallone said. “You’re going to be judged by how you raised your kids and what you left behind. Finally, they get to understand that they have a loving father and movies are wonderful but they pale to life.”

It seems that Sylvester Stallone was a little too nervous while giving his acceptance speech because he forgot to mention the director of the film, Ryan Coogler, and his other protagonist, Michael B. Jordan.

However, Stallone attempted to correct his mistake by running back up to the microphone to thank Jordan and Coogler, as well as co-star Tessa Thompson, but this correction was not on television because they were already in the middle of a commercial break. The incident caused a stir in social networks with stars such as Samuel L. Jackson tweeting how they felt about the situation.
