Teresa Giudice Prepares For Joe Giudice’s Prison Sentence, ‘RHONJ’ Season 7

Teresa Giudice was released from prison last month, but sadly, her legal drama is far from over. As the reality star and mother of four continues to film the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she is preparing to say goodbye to her husband, Joe Giudice, who will begin serving a 41-month prison term in early March.

According to a new report, Teresa Giudice’s husband will be doing time at Fort Dix in New Jersey, and before he enters the facility, she has requested to be added to his visitor list, to ensure they will not be spending too much time apart.

“[Teresa Giudice] doesn’t want there to be any delay in seeing Joe from the time he begins serving time,” a source told Radar Online on January 11.

During an October, 2014, sentencing hearing, Teresa Giudice and her husband received prison sentences due to their alleged crimes of bank and wire fraud. During the court appearance, Teresa Giudice was given a 15-month prison term, while her husband was dealt a 41-month term. However, as fans have likely noted, Teresa Giudice did not serve her entire sentence. Instead, after entering the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, on January 5, 2015, she was released on December 23, 2015, just under a year into her sentence.

“Those first few weeks were very, very hard for [Teresa Giudice],” the source continued. “The phone calls home helped, but [Teresa Giudice] couldn’t see Joe or the kids for weeks because of protocol, and she wants his transition to be as smooth as possible.”

Although Teresa Giudice and her family are headed for yet another rocky time, their relationship is currently said to be “rock solid.”

“They are closer than ever,” the source said.

As Teresa Giudice returns to her life outside of prison, the source claimed the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was “focused on spending time with her family. Even though they are all filming, Teresa makes sure there is down time.”

In other Teresa Giudice news, an Us Weekly report claims the reality star thinks her face looks “haggard and 10 years older” after leaving prison weeks ago. According to the magazine source, Teresa Giudice believes the stress of her 11-month sentence wore her down, and her lack of Botox treatments wasn’t helping.

“She’s especially concerned with laugh lines by her mouth,” said the magazine insider. “[Teresa Giudice] wants her old face back … She’s eager to get Botox and fillers.”

Due to Teresa Giudice’s current house arrest requirements, she is only allowed to leave home for certain work, medical, and family obligations, which must be preapproved by her parole officer. So, when it comes to visiting a spa or beauty facility, she may have to wait until her house arrest is complete.

“[Tersa Giudice] also said she’s lost a lot of hair because of the stress over the past year,” added a pal. “It is still long, but it’s thinner. She’s hoping it will come back now that she’s home.”

“[Teresa Giudice’s] finally getting back to life as it was and is thrilled to be ‘almost free,’ ” the source noted.

Now that she’s back in New Jersey, Teresa Giudice has been filming the seventh season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey with her co-stars, including her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, her cousins, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri, returning housewife Jacqueline Laurita, and new housewives Dolores Catania, Christina Flores, and Robyn Levy.
