Jennifer Aniston Joins Crazy New Diet Fad After Being Kicked Off Film

It seems there's a new fad diet every other month and, for as long as she's been around, it seems Jennifer Aniston has always been one of the first to jump on board. It's happened again, and this may be the craziest diet yet. Jennifer has joined the Taco Cleanse movement, and it's exactly what it sounds like -- eating nothing but tacos for 30 days.

But is there something more going on here, as far as Aniston is concerned? This confession from Jennifer comes just days after it was revealed that she was released from her duties on the Taylor Hackford directed comedy, The Comedian. Could weight gain have played some part in Aniston's dismissal from the film?

Jennifer Aniston Jumps On Board The Taco Cleanse Express

First, what exactly is the Taco Cleanse diet? Developed by self proclaimed "taco scientists" Wes Allison, Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger, and Jessica Morris, the month-long diet consists of replacing each meal with a taco of some form. The team provides an easy to follow manual in their book, The Taco Cleanse: The Tortilla-Based Diet Proven to Change Your Life, which has already become one of the fastest selling diet books of 2016.

Needless to say, Aniston was immediately intrigued by the idea of making tacos a way of life for 30 days. Jennifer first heard about the diet during an interview with Yahoo! Food and immediately began Googling the diet. She initially had her doubts, questioning the nutritional value of corn tortillas, but, by the time the interview had concluded, Aniston had already ordered a copy of the book.

Leave it to the former Friends star to try every new diet that comes along. She sees herself as something as a diet guru, hoping to lead by example.

"I would like to do a lifestyle thing for people who struggle with dieting," she said. "I could just make anything for a diet taste delicious."

Aniston further goes on to explain her meal preparation abilities, making herself sound like a culinary sorceress.

"I'm a good alchemist," Aniston claimed. "I can mix certain things together that are all very healthy, but you don't feel like you're depriving yourself in any way."

Was Jennifer Aniston Let Go From The Comedian For Hormonal Reasons?

Taylor Hackford is all set to begin filming The Comedian next month, which casts Robert DeNiro as an aging insult comic. Unfortunately, the search for a new leading lady may delay production plans, since Jennifer Aniston has been terminated from the project.

While no reason has been directly given, a variety of other news items suggest that Jennifer may be having difficulty managing the change. Her interest in the new Taco Cleanse diet and a concern over hot flashes suggest menopause may be wreaking havoc with the Cake actress' film career.

One of Aniston's assistants revealed that she has made some changes to how things are run on the set. Between scenes, Jennifer expects fans to be blowing on her at all times. As if that's not bad enough, the slightest change in body temperature has Jennifer snapping her fingers for further cool down services.

"If [Jen] feels herself warming up, she'll snap her fingers for someone to grab ice cubes out of the freezer."
The assistant is then expected to rub the cubes on Aniston's forehead, which the assistant says leaves her feeling like a "peasant working for a queen!"

Weight gain and hot flashes may be signs of anything or nothing, but considering Jennifer is 46-years-old, menopause isn't out of the realm of possibility. On the other hand, she may just be getting more eccentric with age, like a female Howard Hughes.
