Ashley Greene has donned her smartest lingerie for Esquire magazine’s August issue, which also features the 25-year-old Twilight actress being grilled on everything from her new aversion to partying to the parts of her life she spends as not-Alice Cullen.
In the interview itself, Greene comes across as a fairly humble, career-focused gal. That last part is reflected in how she banned herself from partying, as she described to Esquire‘s (faintly besotted-sounding) interviewer Tom Chiarella:
“In my second year in Los Angeles, when I was eighteen, I wasn’t getting any bookings. So I stopped going out, stopped partying. It was a matter of getting to the work. I had to focus.”
It seems to be working for her. While Greene will probably be most famous for Twilight for some time to come, she has a bunch of projects lined up for the next twelve months.
As well as promoting the final installment of the Twilight franchise, she’ll be teaming up with Kellan Lutz in A Warrior’s Heart, before jetting off to work alongside Hugh Jackman and alongside Olivia Wilde and in Butter (released October 5), about a young orphan who discovers her uncanny talent for butter sculpture in a remote Iowa town.
Meanwhile, filming for her current role, in upcoming horror flick The Apparition, is just wrapping up. She also starred in LOL with Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore, but let’s try and forget about that for now.
