Anne Hathaway Take Charge: Posts Her Own Baby Bump Photos In Red Bikini
Anne Hathaway is expecting her first baby with husband Adam Schulman and she seemingly couldn’t be happier. Her growing baby bump is obvious now and E! News reported a week before Christmas that she was seen out and about in New York getting coffee and treats. She was dressed down in a track suit and gray hat.
A source has revealed to E! News that Anne Hathaway has been feeling great and healthy during her pregnancy.
“Anne is feeling really healthy. She is working out and trying to stay in shape during this pregnancy. Her energy levels are high. She loves knowing that a baby is inside her and this pregnancy is so exciting.”
The source also expressed how supportive Anne Hathaway’s husband has been during the pregnancy.
“Adam is such a good husband to her. He is very loving and helps if she needs anything. Anne and Adam love taking care of their animals! That was the first step to a baby! They can’t wait to introduce their dogs to the new member of their family soon!”
While Anne Hathaway is keeping life relaxed and low key, photographers are still out there doing what they do best – snapping photos. This past Monday, Hathaway was enjoying some time on the beach and Us Weekly reports that she was showing off her baby bump in a cute, red bikini.
She was also getting ahead of the paparazzi, who were certainly taking pics, by getting one of her own to post on Instagram. She says in the caption that she wanted a photo that would make her happy and that would be done the way she wanted.
“Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter ? Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!”
This Instagram photo is really Anne Hathaway’s official announcement to the world that she is expecting a baby, although there was speculation about her pregnancy when she attended the London premiere of The Intern back in November.

Anne Hathaway and her baby bump have been seen out and about a number of times over the past few weeks, including with her parents in New York prior to Christmas (according to the Daily Mail), out doing some holiday shopping (according to OK Magazine), and even at a brunch in Los Angeles to celebrate Eddie Redmayne‘s role in his new film The Danish Girl (according to the Daily Mail). There is no hiding that baby bump now.
Anne Hathaway is thrilled about her pregnancy, as she has spoken in the past about how much she wants to be a mother. In 2013, in an interview with Vogue, Hathaway revealed just how much she covets the role of being a mother.
“Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.”
The coming year will be one of transition and great excitement for Anne Hathaway and her husband. With a little bundle of joy, she will be able to make her motherhood dreams come true. She will obviously be taking a little time off work to start her family, but there is no doubt that fans will soon enjoy Anne Hathaway on the big screen once again.
