Is ‘RHONY’ Countess LuAnn De Lesseps Engaged To New Boyfriend Thomas D’Agostino Jr.?

The upcoming season of the Real Housewives of New York City might be adding a new husband to the roster. According to People, Thomas D’Agostino Jr. is getting close to popping the big question to RHONY star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. With the couple ready to take their relationship to the next level, will they get engaged before the premiere of Season 8?

The relationship between de Lesseps and D’Agostino was recently confirmed when fans spotted the two spending a romantic holiday vacation together in Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to the sightings at a few parties held at the Brazilian Court Hotel, it was their stop at a local jewelry store that really got people’s attention. With the couple spending time perusing the counters at Graff Diamonds, is it possible that they were picking out an engagement ring?

At this point, neither de Lesseps nor D’Agostino have made any sort of public announcement regarding future wedding plans. However, the latest sighting isn’t the first time the two have spent time together in public, leaving open the possibility that an engagement is right around the corner.

With that in mind, the two were also spotted on different occasions in New York and Sag Harbor. De Lesseps’ relationship with D’Agostino is clearly off to a fast start, and some of de Lesseps close friends had more to add to the story. In fact, her friends told the outlet that the reality star is “over the moon and so happy” in her relationship with D’Agostino Jr., and that an important “announcement” was forthcoming.

Aside from the public outings, Countess LuAnn also took to Twitter this past weekend and posted a photo of her and D’Agostino enjoying their time outdoors. “First time playing golf with Tom! #PalmBeach #Breakers #love,” she wrote alongside the image.

While de Lesseps is clearly in love with D’Agostino and apparently ready to tie the knot, little is known about her newest flame. According to Bustle, D’Agostino heads his own company named Smart Source. The company is estimated to be worth around the $50 million mark, and is not connected to de Lesseps chain of supermarkets. Smart Source specializes in purchasing, administering, and delivering promotional materials.

Apart from his work in the business world, details about D’Agostino are few, including how and when he met de Lesseps. That being said, fans may remember that D’Agostino had a short fling with another member of the hit reality series.

Back in September of 2015, D’Agostino was in a brief relationship with Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer. However, their relationship did not lead to anything serious, and was fairly short lived. Furthermore, Singer does not seem to have taken issue with de Lesseps’ relationship with D’Agostino. Apparently, D’Agostino was not dedicated to starting a romance with Singer and had his mind firmly set on de Lesseps.

For her part, de Lesseps’s former husband is Count Alexandre de Lesseps. The two were married for some 16 years in a relationship that lasted from 1993 to 2009. They had two children together, including Noel and Victoria.

With de Lesseps and D’Agostino’s relationship heating up, it still isn’t clear if the two are planning to get married, let alone when they will decide to exchange vows. Whether or not that will happen before the next season of the Real Housewives of New York City is yet to be seen, but it should add a little more drama to the highly anticipated new season.

The 8th season of the Real Housewives of New York City is expected to premiere in the spring of 2016 on Bravo.
