Gwen Stefani Shows Love For Blake Shelton By Changing Him: Miranda Lambert, Adam Levine & Christina Aguilera React
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are proving that opposites attract. Although they both are coaches on The Voice, the reality singing competition credited for bringing them together and turning them from coaching to canoodling, she’s famed for her fabulous sense of Hollywood fashion and style, while he’s known for his down-home, “hey y’all” love of country casual. But despite that, they found love, and it’s continued into the New Year, with Gwen and Blake even planning a love nest, as the Inquisitr reported.
And it’s also resulted in a transformation for the country music superstar. Even before they steamed up The Voice with their canoodling amid coaching, his divorce from Miranda Lambert resulted in a transformation that, most noticeably, involved weight loss, reported ABC News.
And he showed his sense of humor by mocking tabloid headlines that he had gone to rehab to recover from Miranda, while also reflecting on how his split from Lambert had affected him.
And part of that turn-around had to do with weight loss. Blake credited lawn-mowing for his exercise, which he claims helped him shed 20 pounds amid the “chaos and crisis” involving his divorce from Miranda.
“I push mow my lawn,” he explained. “One day, in the middle of crisis and chaos in my personal life, I walked out and I was just thinking, ‘What’s going on in my life?’ ” he said. “[And] what the hell is going on with my yard?! Are you kidding me, it’s like 3-feet tall out here.”
In addition to channeling the turmoil of his split from Lambert into exercise by winning his weed war, the country crooner admitted he has dieted.
When complimented about his trim appearance, he admitted that the stress of divorcing Lambert had affected his eating.
“The whole stress of getting through all of that is just… It was just weird. I’m not eating as many fried pickles and stuff. I’m doing great,” he explained.
And that comment was confirmed by his rep.
“He’s doing the two things he hates to do—diet and exercise,” said the spokesperson.
Country Crooner Gets Makeover
But someone else gets credit for Shelton’s weight loss, and that’s Stefani, who’s been giving her new boyfriend a makeover, according to Hollywood Life‘s source.
“It started ages ago, back before they were even together. She was the one he went to for advice on getting healthier, she helped him lose weight,” revealed the insider. “He used to drink rum, that was his go to, but since Gwen came into his life he’s switched to vodka because it has less sugar.”
And that’s not all. Stefani has changed his fashion sense, hairstyle, and even toes, said the same insider.
“She’s been a big influence on his style too. He used to wear nothing but plaid shirts but she’s been helping him expand his wardrobe. He’s been to see her hair guy and she got him is first pedicure.”
Adam Levine Cheers For New Couple
How does Shelton’s bromance buddy on The Voice feel about it? Adam Levine is a fan of his pal’s hook-up, according to ET.
Levine also revealed that he’s spent time with the couple, and wants to support them because he regards both Voice coaches as close pals as well as colleagues. In addition, Adam posted a photo on Facebook of the trio with a caption that showed how he feels.
“Family,” wrote Levine.
Christina Aguilera Provides 100 Percent Of Her Support
And Adam is not alone in supporting the new couple. Christina Aguilera also is a fan, reported Fox News.
” ‘The Voice’ has our first love connection, how awesome is that!” exclaimed Christina. “I know their own situations personally with their divorces and coming from a divorce myself its not easy, its rough on everyone and then you add the pressure of the media and bulls–t rumors, its just nasty and I give them 100 percent of my support.”
In addition, Aguilera praised them as “good people,” noting that she has known both for a long time.
“They really deserve happiness. They are two great people and why not, right?” questioned Christina.
Miranda Lambert Hates Changes In Her Ex
“He’s just like a completely different person to Miranda,” shared the source. “Not to mention he hasn’t made any time to even return any of her text messages or phone calls. It’s not like Miranda is chasing him down, but a simple acknowledgement of her existence would be nice.”
And the change is so dramatic that Lambert feels the person she loved and married has gone, according to that insider.
In addition, as the Inquisitr reported, Miranda was shocked and stunned by the PDA that her former husband and his new gal pal displayed on social media. Lambert was reportedly horrified and considered it vulgar that they decided to provide the globe with a glimpse into their sex life with canoodling photos, and even a video.
