Katie Holmes Was Worried Tom Cruise Would Ship Suri Off To Sea

The saga of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise continues to turn even more strange. Sources close to the couple are reporting that Holmes decided to pull the plug on the couple’s relationship after Tom Cruise insisted that little 6-year-old Suri be sent to live with a hardcore Scientology group known as Sea Organization.

Sea Org is a ship where the highest level of Scientology is taught and it includes children as young as five-years-old, many without their parents in tow.

One source tells TMZ that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were constantly arguing over sending Suri to Sea Org that Katie Holmes refused to allow her daughter to be indoctrinated into the organization.

Ex-Scientologist and Oscar winner Paul Haggis how been an outspoken critic of the Sea Org program which he says forces members into military-like conditions and essentially will brainwash them. In fact you may recall that in 2005 Jessica Feshbach, a Sea Org member since 2004 was assigned as Katie Holmes’ “assistant/Scientology chaperon” and many observers noticed her “cold-eyed” appearance, almost as if the organization had completely brain-washed her.

To join Sea Org members must sign a “one-billion-year pledge” which is meant to symbolize their commitment to Scientology for all time.

The move to file for divorce in New York City and then ask for full custody of daughter Suri makes a lot more sense now that we know Tom Cruise was ready to send Suri Cruise off to sea to live with strangers.

Do you think the court system will ultimately put Suri’s future in the hands of Katie Holmes?
