Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Romance Inspires Miranda Lambert To Canoodle With Anderson East: How Did Blake React?

When Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert revealed their plans to divorce, the shock reverberated not just around the country music industry, but throughout the world. The pair had seemed like the royal king and queen of country crooners, and while some sought to find the reasons for the split, others commiserated as the duo both made their emotional pain evident. Since then, he’s found first friendship and then flirty fun with his fellow coach on The Voice, Gwen Stefani. But for months after their divorce, Miranda made it clear that she was having a much more difficult time moving on, as The Inquisitr reported.

Lambert was shocked when she saw the numerous proofs of PDA paraded on social media by her ex and his new gal pal. She reportedly thought it was in extremely bad taste to provide the stratosphere with a glimpse into their sex life. Moreover, Lambert got furious that she was losing friends that she and her ex-husband had in common.

But now Miranda appears to have made a New Year’s resolution of her own to finally move on. And to show that she’s done so, she even did her own proof of PDA parading on social media. Lambert posted a photo of herself with her new boyfriend, Anderson East, reported the Daily Mail.

A Southern soul singer, East is 27, and Miranda shared a romantic picture showing herself getting cozy under a blanket to kick off the New Year in canoodling style. Lambert, 32, even wore a matching cap to her boyfriend’s. And just in case anyone doubted that their PDA was authentic, Miranda carefully insisted they were snuggling for real in her caption.

“The snuggle is real… @andersoneast :@raytair @ape_lewis,” posted Lambert.

It might be cold outside, but the heat was rising inside for Miranda and Anderson. Lambert and East have been together for several weeks, and had even made plans to see in the New Year as a crooning, canoodling couple.

“She couldn’t have picked a better dude to have fun with,” said a pal of Anderson quoted by the Daily Mail.

As for the ex-husband of Miranda’s, Lambert made a choice for her new boyfriend that meets with Shelton’s approval, according to Hollywood Life‘s insider.

“Blake heard the news about Miranda and Anderson and is happy for her,” revealed the insider. “He’s only ever wanted the best for her and is glad that they can both move on in 2016. He knows who Anderson is, they have met a couple of times and thinks he’s a cool guy. He doesn’t know him that well, but if he makes Miranda happy, then that’s all that matters.”

As to how Lambert’s ex learned about her relationship with East, it was from his mother, whose sharp eyes spotted an item about Miranda dating Anderson. But the country crooner and coach on The Voice isn’t the only one keeping track of an ex. Lambert also just started following Gwen on Twitter on Christmas Eve.

Miranda and Anderson truly are cherishing each other as they become better acquainted after having dated for a month, reported Us Weekly.

Described as an Americana/R&B musician, East reportedly spent New Year’s Eve with Lambert, and a source revealed to Us Weekly that the couple have already become intimately involved.

“They are really enjoying each other’s company,” said that source.

Anderson, whose birth name is Michael Cameron Anderson, became a rising star in Nashville as an engineer and session musician. He was born in Alabama, and also shares a passion for hunting with Lambert. And a friend of East’s complimented the choice that Lambert had made.

“Anderson is the coolest guy,” that friend told Us Weekly.

But before finding happiness with East, Lambert suffered, quoted as admitting that she resorted at times to weeping and whiskey after her divorce, which she sees as necessary to moving on.

“I just want to live a life full of everything. Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey and going, ‘Man this sucks right now.’ I don’t necessarily want to know that I have really bad, long, lonely nights ahead of me, but I have had some, and I still have a bunch ahead of me.”
