Taylor Swift ‘Shocked’ Over Harry Styles & Kendall Jenner As She Gets Ready To Release Dirty ‘OOTW’ Video

Taylor Swift may look quite content with her current beau DJ Calvin Harris, but the pop star is currently in a state of shock over the news of Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner.

In case you were under a rock, Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles were spotted vacationing together in Anguilla earlier this week. The couple were recently seen canoodling on a luxury yacht on the beautiful island of St. Barts. An alleged insider told the Hollywood Life that Taylor Swift is not too crazy over the news of the couple’s reunion.

“Taylor heard from a mutual friend that Harry and Kendall are back together and she is completely shocked. She can’t believe that Kendall would actually date Harry.”

It’s an awkward situation, especially since Kendall Jenner was spotted in Taylor Swift’s girl squad. The insider said that the two “bonded” over their relationships with the One Direction singer. If that isn’t odd enough, Kendall and Taylor even compared notes over their relationship. Hopefully, they didn’t compare the intimate details of their relationships with the British heartthrob.

There also were rumors and whispers about the reason why the Jenner teen refused to make a cameo appearance in Swift’s “Bad Blood” video. Sources close to the reality star said that with her busy modeling schedule, she simply didn’t have the time to star in her music video. But an alleged insider told OK! Magazine (via the Hollywood Life) that even though Jenner and Swift hung out in 2014 and some of 2015, they really can’t stand being around each other because of their previous relationships with Styles.

It’s also been assumed that Taylor thought that Kendall didn’t respect the “girl code” since they were friends and she decided to date Taylor’s ex-boyfriend. But in the September issue of Vanity Fair, the singer revealed that even though she and her girlfriends sometimes date the same people, they’re all cool with it.

“It’s almost like sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. It’s so much more important than some guy that it didn’t work out with.”

But the alleged insider is telling the Hollywood Life that Swift is in complete disbelief over Jenner’s plans with her ex-boyfriend. It sounds like the singer needs to focus on her New Year’s Eve plans with her own boyfriend.

“The fact that Harry and Kendall are celebrating New Year’s Eve together is beyond weird to Taylor. She can’t really trust anything that Kendall tells her, not now that she’s back with Harry!”

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift plans to premiere her dirty new video for “Out of the Woods” on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on the same night as Hendall is happening. She took to Instagram to share a teaser for her new video, which is a close-up of the singer with wet and matted hair and a snarl on her face. Swift also looks dirty in the still, which is a departure from the singer who’s normally dressed up with her signature red lipstick.

She captioned the photo, “Are we out of the woods yet?”

The song is said to be about Taylor Swift’s relationship with Harry Styles. According to Billboard, the song drops some not-so-subtle hints about their brief romance, unless you’re not fans of the stars. One of the lyrics talks about the identical airplane necklaces that Taylor and Harry wore when they dated.

Another line in the song goes, “Remember when you hit the brakes too soon/Twenty stitches in a hospital room.”

It’s about the time that Swift and Styles went snowmobiling together in Utah, but that trip quickly turned into a disaster, according to Rolling Stone.

“She says it was inspired by a snowmobile ride with an ex who lost control and wrecked it so badly that she saw her life flash before her eyes.”
