Teresa Giudice Under House Arrest, Mends Relationship With Melissa Gorga?

Teresa Giudice is now a semi-free woman. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was released from prison after serving 11 months behind bars. She was out early for good behavior, and will be serving her remaining time under house arrest. The restrictions for Teresa Giudice are things she is willing to abide by, she is not looking to cut corners or receive special treatment. While she was recently photographed grocery shopping, that outing had already been pre-approved by her parole officer. Teresa Giudice knows she is lucky to be back home, and there isn’t anything worth risking more time away from her girls.

Now that Teresa Giudice is home, her husband will be headed off to serve his time in prison. Joe Giudice received a much longer sentence than Teresa, and the judge took mercy on the couple because of their young daughters. It was granted that the Giudices could serve their sentences back-to-back in order to allow for one parent to be home with their children at all times. Now that Teresa Giudice is out, she is relishing all the moments she can with her daughters. According to Us Weekly, Giudice is committed to following the rules of house arrest completely. She is asking permission when she has work obligations, doctor appointments, and family functions to attend. While all of them likely won’t be approved, she will be granted minimal freedom.

Bravo is currently documenting the process of easing Teresa Giudice back into society. The cameras have been following her around and filming things like her outing at the grocery store. Currently, there is no concrete information to give about The Real Housewives of New Jersey or when it will return. It has been on hold since Teresa Giudice went to prison, but it has been said that the show will go on once she returned. Now that the day has come and Teresa Giudice is back home, talks of reintroducing the show will also begin. After all, Giudice is going to need some income to support the family while Joe Giudice is behind bars for the next few years.

It has been clear for several years that Teresa Guidice and Melissa Gorga were not very fond of one another. Joe Gorga is Teresa’s brother, and Melissa is his wife. The tension mounting between the women was fierce, and fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey wondered whether or not their relationship could be repaired. As it turns out, stranger things have happened. According to Radar Online, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga called a truce on Christmas Eve. Giudice reached out and thanked her sister-in-law for helping with the girls while she was in prison. While repairing their strained relationship will not happen overnight, it looks like it is off to a good start.

The next several months will be the test of time for Teresa Giudice. Her house arrest will officially expire in February, which is when she was originally slated to be released from prison. Now that Giudice is home with her family, she has a new perspective on life. The dealings that got her and Joe Giudice caught up are some of her biggest regrets. While she still denies knowing about the scheme, she regrets every single moment she spent away from her four young daughters. Teresa Guidice is the star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and now that she is back home, there is no reason to keep production halted. With 2016 just around the corner, there are plenty of new beginnings for Teresa Giudice in the future, especially with her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.
