Teresa Giudice Not Allowed To Contact Friends From Prison For Two Years

Teresa Giudice is now home from prison after 11 months and is with her family once again. During her time behind bars, Teresa obviously made some good friends, but it turns out she can’t even have anything to do with them right now. People shared that Teresa made some great bonds in prison, but she isn’t even allowed to talk to these women for two more years. It doesn’t sound like they want felons hanging out with felons.

Teresa Giudice did meet several women at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. According to her lawyer, James J. Leonard, Jr., Teresa can’t have contact with them though. Here is how he explained it.

“She is precluded from doing so because she can’t have contact with felons while she is on supervised release for two years.”

There is one felon that Teresa Giudice will be able to be in touch with though and that is her husband, Joe. The two are living together now at their home until he heads to prison himself. If you watched the specials, you know that Joe Giudice wasn’t allowed to visit Teresa as much as the kids were. It will be interesting to see if the same restriction is in place for Teresa and that she won’t get to see Joe every single week. Her lawyer went on to explain how hard it was for Teresa Giudice to leave these women behind.

“She shed lots of tears in Danbury the night before she left. The women there made her things – it was very clear to me that she had established strong bonds with the women in Danbury. I read some of the messages in the cards they gave her. They were tearjerkers.”

Teresa Giudice’s lawyer went on to explain that Teresa would go back right away if she could have the chance to speak with these women. Of course, this would be just to talk to them because Giudice is really happy to be home with her family right now for the holidays.

After Teresa Giudice’s release from prison, fans were shocked to hear that Joe bought her a $90,000 Lexus that was waiting in the driveway for her when she got home. After all of their legal issues, a lot of people didn’t think that the couple should spend this kind of money on a car. Daily Mail shared that her lawyer is also defending this decision and doesn’t seem to see the problem with it. Architect John Fellgraff, 73, who worked for the Giudices eight years ago, told Daily Mail Online that they still owe him $13,000 and he hasn’t seen any of that money yet, but they are buying a high dollar car. He is very upset that they bought this car and wants to take legal action to get his money. Teresa’s lawyer had an answer for why it was okay.

“She needs a car. End of story – just like anyone else who needs a car.”

Of course, not everyone that needs a car has one that is worth $90,000, but that is exactly what Joe got for Teresa. It will be interesting to see if they continue to spend a lot of money now that she is out prison and back home again with the girls and Joe.

Are you surprised to hear that Teresa Giudice made such good friends in prison, but can’t even speak to them? Do you think it could benefit everyone involved for them to let her talk to these women?
