Taylor Swift and B.o.B. Take To Nashville Streets For New Video ‘Both Of Us’

Taylor Swift shows she’s not afraid to get down into the nitty-gritty with her new song “Both of Us,” featuring B.o.B..

E! Online reports that the video shows a normally polished Swift strolling the streets with B.o.B., touring Nashville’s roughed-up fringe neighborhoods, desolate railroad depots, dusty old train tracks, and walls covered in graffiti.

The video shows a different side of the country star, with a more raw tone regarding Nashville, instead of the expected honky-tonk tribute.

MTV reports that the video is far from glamorous, but instead it “leaves viewers appreciating the little things in life.” They go on to say that:

“It’s not about money, it’s about understanding that sometimes a romp through a sprinkler or a good game of billiards is enough to take you away from the mundane moments of everyday life.”

In the new Taylor Swift song, B.o.B. says:

“Hey, but if it’s all for one and one for all/ Then maybe one day we all could ball/ Do it one time for the underdogs/ From Bobby Ray to all of y’all.”

And Swift responds in the chorus by saying:

“I wish I was strong enough to lift not one but both of us/ Someday I will be strong enough to lift not one but both of us.”

Billboard reports that the lyrics are perfect for the video, displaying what Swift is singing and B.o.B. is rapping, like when he says”

“Most of us aint Hollywood actors, but if it’s all for one, and one for all, then maybe one day we all can ball. Do it one time for the underdogs. Sincerely yours, from one of y’all.”
